Hotel was a usual Marriott but I really enjoyed the bar it had an dome roof so you could watch the sky and sometimes aircraft coming in for landing. Food was good as were drinks and the service was very attentive. Surprisingly the prices were not to bad either.

VERYDISAPPOINTING ! A quick review… 1.Their airport shuttle service is very slooooowwww. The distance between the pick-up point at the airport and the hotel is 1 – 2 miles(sorry Europe on that kilometers thing.) Waited 30+ minutes for pick-up. Their vehicle was small, great for the Marriott in Fresno, and it accommodates about 7 people. As a result, other Marriott guests were left at the pick-up point. did not work in the room, but delayed calling the front desk to have dinner at the hotel. 3. THEONLYBRIGHTPART… the staff in the restaurant is very nice and delightful. The food was fine. A 3+ star rating for the food. 4. On retuning to the room, we called the front desk for TV repair. A service person came up and fixed that issue. 5.Air Conditioning turned on. Slow to respond. I have been to Europe and know that much of the European air conditioning is similar to a geriatric asthma suffer gently blowing across a bowl of ice… a bowl of ice is the measure of a person’s wealth in France by the way. So we waited for the cooling to begin. 1 hour later, we called the front desk for assistance. A tall gentleman in a suit came to the room, twisted some knobs, put his hand to the vent, shook his head and left. Never to be seen or heard from again, We waited 30 minutes, called back to the front desk and was told«your air conditioner does not work.» REALLY ? We were offered a different room, but it was after midnight and we had to be up by 6:00. So we kept the windows open. I could not sleep though reminding myself of just how old the city of Paris is and the Great Plague that obliterated Europe from rats. So goodbye sleep. 6.Leaving the hotel in the A.M.(Yea !!!), we were waiting for the airport shuttle to begin. My wife asked if my aged Mother in Law could sit in the van until they departed. Unfortunately for my wife(who speaks fluent French) the shuttle driver was chatting to a fellow driver type of person and the paying Marriott Hotel guest(said wife) would have to wait. IF they THINKSTHISISANAMERICANTYPEOFHOTEL, THEYAREWAYOFF. The only person I would recommend this place to is my ex-wife. Au revoir ! Craig(God Bless America)

We chose the Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport Marriott Hotel for our last night in France. We had an afternoon flight back home the following day and wanted the convenience of being in close proximity to the airport at a hotel with free shuttle service to/from the airport. We had taken the TGV back from Bordeaux to Charles de Gaulle and it was an easy walk from the train station to the hotel shuttle pickup area. After a short van drive, we soon arrived at the hotel. From an aesthetic standpoint, the hotel’s exterior was fairly generic. However, it looked relatively new or at least newly renovated both inside and out. The lobby was open and brightly lit. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient for both our check-in and checkout. The common areas were clean and maintained. Our room was also clean and maintained. We were upgraded to a suite, of sorts, which was a regular room and the adjoining room that the bed had been removed and replaced with a sofa and table and chairs. The bed wasn’t the finest I’ve ever slept on, it was comfortable and allowed for a good night’s sleep before our long flight home. While it wouldn’t be our choice for an extended stay in Paris due to its distance from the city proper, the Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport Marriott Hotel was an ideal choice for us for a night before our departure given the fine service we received and its convenience.

Free shuttle from and to airport, speedy and friendly check in, large and clean rooms, good restaurant, awesome breakfast buffet. Service is definitely European, but hey, you’re(still) in Europe. Definitely one of the better hotel in the airport area, but also one of the priciest…

Very smooth check-in. Friendly staff! Room service was accommodating and the food was good. The hotel even has some American treats like an ice bucket and ice machine. I paid $ 3 € in Madrid for ice. Free shuttle to the airport. Nice place to stay for a layover in Paris!

I was pleasantly assigned 1 of 2 newly remodeled rooms. Because it was adjacent to the gym, I was concerned about noise but it was not an issue. I loved the remodel: clean, modern lines, walk-in shower, huge desk, useful closet with creative back-mirror, and AC worked(in Europe! I know, right?). It even had the new car smell. My only complaints: the fridge didn’t work and there was no place to hang a towel(or anything else) in the bathroom. Ironically a towel knob that matched the bathroom hardware was mounted on the wall in the sleep area. I decided to mention that to the manager at checkout since obviously they had the rest of the rooms yet to renovate. The manager said«Thanks, but they’re demolishing that room tomorrow!» If they don’t like it, why not at least wait until all the old rooms are updated to the new, new design before taking a sledge hammer to the new design? What-evs. OBTW, thanks to the midnight bar tender for his wine choice!

Great hotel! I’ve been coming to this hotel since it was a courtyard. Nothing has changed except the lobby layout and the cost. The new bar are is more open where a good group of people can sit and have a conversation. All staff are friendly and courteous and speak very good English. The rooms are as described and are the signature of Marriott hotels.

I have stayed at this Hotel since the week after it opened when it was first a Courtyard. The hotel has always been my haven away from home, But this review is only about the restaurant. The restaurant here used to be GREAT! They have obviously changed chefs here as the food was just OK for the price you are paying. But the biggest problem I have is the really poor service! Now I know what you are going to say… but it is Europe. Well i have eaten here many times and the service was always pretty good. Now the service we had this past time was HORRIBLE. When you have to ask each when you will get your starter, main, wine… etc, then we have a problem. Unfortunately in that area there really are no other choices, and I have tried some of the restraints in the town next door, Roisse en France. Well as bad as this was I think I will have to try the restaurants in town again… I would rather have one of the dreaded Marriott burgers in my room then eat at the restaurant again.

Good experience — comfortable, clean and restaurant is very good. Staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. Very positive given the usual mediocrity of airport hotels. Would stay here again.

Good and comfortable hotel. I used to come to this hotel when it was a Courtyard Marriott, I don’t know what changed to bring it up to be a Marriott(I did not notice anything significant, maybe just the higher prices in the restaurant… ha ha ha :)). The rooms are big with a nice 32 in. flat TV and a nice bathroom. Nothing to envy any major hotel in USA. Saying this, if you want to experience a «European Style» or a more classy French hotel, don’t come here. The breakfast buffet is amazing, there is a lot of things… including omelette«a la carte», prosciutto, Camembert cheese, yogurt, fresh fruit, lots of kind of bread, sausages, etc. I am giving it only three stars because of the inconsistency in the personnel. I found two times two different persons in the front desk with a bad attitude. I had their names but I rather not get them in trouble. Their internet system by the company Ibahn is not reliable, it crashes continuosly… I couldn’t work connecting to my office 4 different days during all my stay(Ibahn was used in the Marriott Hotels in USA years ago but they’ve changed because of slow connections and bad service). Another low is the charge for parking, I would understand if a private company owns it(like in many cities) but in this case, is from the hotel. Parking is 18 Euros per night.
