Mr. Tacos

Received coupons, which turned out to be not discounts but for free churros with the purchase of a meal + drink, while walking out of class one day. Decided to try it for a break from our packed lunches.
Quick service and the servers were friendly enough. Helped us move two tables together, politely enquired where we were from, how long we were staying, etc.
Being Texans ourselves, we were sorely disappointed by the limited menu — only quesadillas and burritos — and them offering bland fries instead of chips with guacamole, queso, or salsa. Really. that’s just borderline blasphemous.
Limited seating. If you must, take it to-​go, and find a nice nearby park (Jardin des Plantes is great).
Honestly not that bad, there were a fair amount of customers, despite there being a more traditional French brasserie right next door. Kudos to their advertising strategy. But it just wasn’t authentic enough for us Texans.
So lesson learned: when in France, stick with French food.

Si vous souhaitez manger mexicain pour pas cher et être servi rapidement, c’est la bonne adresse sur Toulouse. Il y a de tout, tacos, tapas, burritos. Et ils sont délicieux.
