Delicious food in a romantic outdoor garden setting
This has to be one of the most romantic restaurants I’ve ever seen. Most of the tables are located in a super cute covered outdoor garden with moody lighting.
The food here is excellent. I started with a delicious swordfish tartare, followed by an out of this world slow-​roasted Iberico pork with fava beans. I’m not sure exactly what the translation was, but the pork apparently was of a special Spanish variety, intensly flavourful and cooked meltingly soft yet with a crusty, bacony crust. SO good.

We literally found this restaurant this past May and enjoyed a great dinner in the garden. We went back last night to an equally impressive dining experience. The food is wonderful and the wine list is extensive. This restaurant is among the top dining experiences in my life and it is very affordably priced. Enjoy!

Hidden away off the main square, this is a wonderful, elegant restaurant. Not to be missed in Uzes. Food is excellent without being fussy, a changing selection of seasonal dishes, the service careful and attentive. The room is pretty if a little over illuminated for such a romantic setting. Wine list is especially good — look for the local reds, which offer great value.

Heureusement que nous avions réservé !
Samedi c’est jour de marché et jour de fête dans le centre typique d’Uzès.
L’accueil est vraiment sympa et le service efficace.
Nous avons choisi les suggestions de l’ardoise: c’était excellent pour un prix défiant toute concurrence sur le plan quantité et qualité.
J’ai vu que nos voisins se régalaient avec leur tartare au couteau, ce sera pour mon prochain séjour (en terrasse) !
La Palme d’or est attribuée pour les desserts.
Excellent rapport qualité /​prix.
Il faut absolument réserver.

Une belle pause un jour de marché
Dans un dédale de ruelles, tout près de la place aux herbes, nous avons découvert le bec à vin. L’accueil est chaleureux et nous nous sommes installés sous les voûtes de pierre avec un décor simple et rustique. La cuisine qui respecte la saison et les produits régionaux est fine, goûteuse et élégante dans sa présentation. Nous avons pris un menu du jour (souris d’agneau et café gourmand) en famille. Nous avons pu faire facilement remplacer un accompagnement par des légumes, et un café par un petit dessert en plus.
