Overall love their mochi & cream puffs.
They’re expensive but what specialty dessert place isn’t?

Beard Papa is really good. I think it is very unfair to give them the lowest rating because they dont offer the same services as their stores in Hawaii do.
First the cream puffs are DY-​NO-​MITE! And this is coming from a guy that know his profiteroles (big word alert). If you think that i may not be qualified to make this statement, check the waist line. I win.
Also worth noting is a concoction named «Mango Ice Shower.» It its aptly named because oddly enough i would love to have it showered all over my naked body. Wait… wrong website for that. Anyway it is very tasty. They may offer to put it in either a red cup or a clear cup, choose the red cup! The reason is simple. The Mango Ice Shower is shaved ice with mango and condensed milk toppings. The clear cup is just that. The red cup however… wait for it… has a wide lip that runs around the top. So the employee that made mine loaded up extra mango topping until it overflowed and that lip was filled. BONUS! It was delicious, like an orgasm in my mouth! (Is that inappropriate?)
Also worth noting, and hence the 4 stars, is that the crab stuffed puff that i had was disgusting. Its crab and bacon… how can it not give me a mouth-​gasm? (WTF is wrong with me today?) Well ill tell you how. They use the fake crab meat of the lowest quality. Yeah yeah i knew it was going to be the imitation crab meat… what do you expect for $ 2.50. But it was cold and disgusting.
Stick with anything but the crab-​stuffed items and your tongue will thank me.

The original Vanilla Cream Puff is still my favorite. Tried everything there, including Mango Crab Puff — it has a kick and the flavors don’t blend well to my thinking — but the chocolate, strawberry and vanilla cream puffs still rock. Mochi ice cream is to die for when you want a special treat. Pricey, but when you gotta have it, you gotta have it. Heard the mango shower is yummy. Next on my list!
