Oka Pay-Less

Literally, as good as It gets here in the 671! Go to any other Pay-​Less (or humorously known to locals and visitors alike — PAY-​More!!) around the island and you will see the huge disparity between this location and that of the overpopulated Yigo and Dededo Pay-​Less markets.
This location boasts fresher looking and aesthetically pleasing produce, clean, clear and wider aisles as well as a very maintained freezer section. I just don’t understand why the other markets are not maintained as well as this. I believe it has to do with economic geography There are more affluent and expensive homeowners in this village as compared to the other villages and it is my belief that Pay-​Less exerts a stronger hand in management and maintenance in this market.
There is a lack of gourmet, organic and gluten free products in this market (as well as all the other Pay-​Less markets on island). Also, if you’re looking for a fresh deli, floral or even a decent bakery section at this location — you’re SOL! This location and products therein is as good as it gets on Guam. Learn to live without things, order or hoard from mainland visits or simply substitute or delete items from your cooking repertoire — you won’t find it in the Pay-more…ahem, Less stores (or perhaps they meant you get LESS).
