We didn’t have the food here but the Guinness was good in this traditional Irish pub. We wish we had been there when music was playing but it was a nice place to relax with a drink.

Stopped here due to a great Unilocal rating, and so glad we did! Amazing food, welcoming staff, wonderful building, and exceedingly friendly guests. At the end of the evening they had a great live band playing traditional music. This was the pub experience we had been searching for!

Prices a little steep but the food is great. Fish pie excellent and burger good. Chips could be better. Bog standard chips. Service excellent. Surprise dessert a must!

Galway being my hometown, I’ve come here many times for dinner and I’ve never once been disappointed. The staff are always so friendly and attentive, checking on customers ever so often. The service is also quick and efficient. The seafood menu here is my favorite in Galway. They serve the freshest of fresh fish in a variety of dishes, and have specials that change every day. They also have chicken and meat dishes for those who don’t like fish, but the vegetarian menu is limited to one or two things. But overall, great restaurant, nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

Bestes Seafood in Galway.

One one of the two or three buildings that constituted the village of Bearna, Donnely’s maintains a purely local charm, with friendly bar staff and fantastic service being part of its very nature. The seafood is local, fresh and excellent, and the beach is only seconds away for a post-lunch stroll by Galway Bay
