Went for an early lunch with herself, she got a chicken sandwich with chips and ‘slaw I got the half chicken with same. Delicious as per usual, they really don’t scrimp on quality here, little pricy at € 32, but it’s backed up by the quality so can’t really complain. The staff were very attentive and friendly.

This is I would say the largest Avoca both in terms of size and choice. Sine they refurbished and expanded you can find James Whelan Butchers, Sushi, Fishmongers, poulet bon femme, cheese counter etc. In addition to the above you still have the usual Avoca own brand goods a wonderful bakery and spacious café along with a restaurant. For the green fingers among us a garden center can be found towards the back with friendly staff who are ready to make suggestions on plants and what to buy.

The food is always top notch here, the salads are delicious, crunchy and full of flavour and the mains are hearty and filling! The staff are lovely and helpful. I took off a star because I think it’s a bit overpriced. There are so many other places serving food of equl quality and taste at better prices.

Save your souvenir shopping for this boutique. Lovely woolen throws and scarfs as well as Irish jewelry and clothing. We visited the shop at Powerscourt Gardens.

This place has outdone itself with the recent transformation. It has everything you could need in one stop. When I stop off here with my mum it’s the best day! Pick up some sushi in michie, a roast chicken from la poulet bonne femme, salads from the salad bar, fish from Roberts, literally it has everything along with all the delicious take away foods from avoca the restaurant is also epic. My favourite is the chicken ceaser salad, it’s prob my favourite chicken ceaser iv ever had. Or even just a scone with cream and jam is heavenly. Only downfall is that this place is always packed but it’s for good reason. It’s a tourists dream. Having stopped in this avoca for the last decade it’s transformation has been gobsmacking but the simple scones and quality of their food have never changed

By far my favourite Avoca. They have a huge shop, café and restaurant here. This one is always busy with tourists on their way to /from Glendalough but you will always get a table. Been here on a number of occasions for coffee and breakfast. I love the fresh white soda bread. The jam and cream scones and cheesecake are often my go to choice when here too. Have tried Fern House restaurant for breakfast and lunch. I have no complaints with any. They’ve recently extended the shop area and this now includes Whelan’s Butchers, Mitchells Wine, Poulet Bonne Femme(They do AWESOME sandwiches here!!!)
