Giving this place 5 stars. Do the best breakfast in Dublin. Cheap for what you get too, full fry is around € 9. Has a massive menu so will not be stuck for choice

The food is delicious with many options, The falafel wrap and the super food salad are always my go to meals when I’m here. Great atmosphere and always busy– a sign of a great place. I would recommend Vanilla Pod Eatery for lunch(the vanilla pod pizza place next door is delicious too) Ill defiantly be back.

Lovely place for lunch and brunch. Great choice of pizzas the super food pizza is so tasty. The salads are also fab and the choice on the menu is great. The deserts are also very tasty and such a great selection and the portions are very big and prices are quite good for the size & quality of the food.

Lovely lunch!!! Recently had a delicious lunch here, quite pricy but extreme well done — that’s why 4 stars given. I ate salmon on a warm green salad(see picture) — it was spiced in Asian style, and sooooo gooood! Seriously amazing, I would totally go back there to have another one. We also had a raspberry brownie — omg, it was fantastic!!! The setting and décor are really nice too, so if you are around, pop in :)

You know those mornings where you’re starving, but you’ve nothing in the house, and even if you have, you just couldn’t be bothered cooking? The Vanilla Pod is perfect for taking care of that. Just a few minutes walk from the Luas, it’s a great little café. It’s usually quite busy, especially at the weekends but it tends to be quite fast to get a seat. The food is great too, especially for the price. I tend to go for the eggs benedict, or the full Irish if I’m in a brunch mood, or the super food salad with chicken if I want something healthier. They’re always accompanied by a large latte. The staff are always friendly, and service is quick more often than not, but suffers a bit more at weekends. The coffee cups and tshirts have slogans on them that will always bring a smile to your face. If you happen to be in the Park, definitely call in.

This large, obviously popular lunch and breakfast café has an impressively varied menu of brunch items, including a kid’s menu. I ate the burger with bacon, cheddar cheese, fried onions, and aioli on a sesame seed bun. The toppings, all very delicious, provide a good balance. The burger patty, as is typical in a lot of places, is cooked well, and became rather dry as a result. I recommend spooning some of the aioli on the bun, as well as for dipping the fries. My daughter ate the kid’s pasta in a red sauce with ham. A picky eater, she ate the whole thing. I can’t say I’m looking forward to driving to Carrickmines again, it’s not close enough to be worth a trip just to eat, but inevitably, I’ll definitely eat here again, and although I would eat the burger again without complaint, I’ll probably try something else first. The wait time was reasonable even on a busy Saturday and the portion sizes were ample. We came at noon with a party of four. With three couples ahead of us, we waited less than ten minutes for a table. I think the food prices are reasonable, nothing is more than thirteen euros. There’s only one bathroom.

It’s the only non chain restaurant situated in the park carrickmines. Ehmmmm I have mixed reviews on the place. First time I went I was a huge fan. Loved their quirky coffee mugs. Their cakes, scones and pastries were delish. Service was good. All and all it was a great experience. Second time I went, i got lunch with my friend. We got sambos. I got some chicken thing and my friend got falafel. They were both boring and dry. We were not happy girls. The service this time was slow. I was rele disappointed cause I had felt it was a great spot. I haven’t been back since, but I’m gona give it another shot before I decide for sure if ur dead to me vanilla pod. Haha Their pizza joint next door tho. I can confirm for sure that its guuuuuuurrrrd :) yum yum

We came here for brunch and the décor is gorgeous. Very modern country kitchen which was very fitting. We were served in ok time but was surprised by the pricing on the menu. € 8.50 for French toast and bacon seemed a bit much but then we saw the portions and tasted the food. I had the chargrilled chicken with tobacco onions which was heavenly! The chicken was so tender and the spelt bread was amazing! The mister has the falafel super food wrap and said it had so much going on that he thought it was delicious! Our server was a lovely guy, quick to meet our needs(the likes of soy milk not dairy). An Americano and a tea accompanied the food which was a tasty combination. Over all the food was worth the price and is recommend for brunch.

I’ve been here a few times over the past few years. Nothing about the place has ever really wow’d me. The service and food are average and would have been a 3 star had it not been for our last visit. To touch on the service, it has just never been anything special. It’s as though management have settled for«average is good enough». This isn’t a rant but the staff just seem to be getting through their day and no one seems to be motivated or enthusiastic about what they’re doing or serving. Anyway, out of our group of four, two of us ordered the pulled pork sandwich. At € 11 it should have been epic. It was but not in a good way. It tasted of nothing but salt, garlic and it was dripping in oil. I have no problem paying over the odds for a sandwich if it’s good but this was terrible. Management have jumped on the pulled pork bandwagon but have failed miserably to deliver. The only suitable punishment for the person who cooked this would be to have them eat it.

This place was highly recommended, I am not so sure. It was busy, so that must say something. Herself and I were not that impressed. We both found the food a little tasteless, I had the pulled pork sandwich It lacked something I am not sure what but it did not pop and was fairly bland. Herself had the eggs benedict again looked nice but she complained that it got cold very quickly. She was however delighted with the Tea, she loves proper tea in a proper pot. Now my biggest gripe and this is the one that will stop me returning here again. The coffee. I ordered a large Americano(hate that name). Oh large it was not, supplied in a mug with a lame attempt of humour on it about depresso. The mug was nothing special in size a bog standard mug size,. My large coffee was barely over the half way mark. If they served the small coffee in the same mug I think I would be devestated. This is not a cheap place the coffee in Mcdonalds is better value and not far off taste wise.

This place is absolutely packed on a Sunday! Incredible! But the minute I got my food, I knew exactly why! It was brilliant! They have a great little brunch menu I must say, which was very enjoyable. The food coming out from the lunch menu looked amazing too. There are only a few places I can find in the area that do a good Sunday brunch and I would have to highly recommend this place! Pop in if you are in the area!

Popped in today for a quick lunch. Staff friendly enough — food pretty good. Had the special stir fry and the special smoothie and the person I was eating with had a cobb salad which was massive! Good, quick lunch for a reasonable price. Probably the best place in the Park.

This place is amazing and I love that they do takeaway as well, chicken caeser ciabatta is gorgeous. Been here 3 times and never had a problem, Other than a ‘little’ wait to be seated but that’s it. Beats costa or bbs for an afternoon rest from shopping

This place is a gem and was badly needed in the Carrickmines estate. Really nice all day menu. I’ve been for coffee(which is amazing) and a scone in the morning and also lunch. All their grub is homemade with cakes and pastries baked on site. Had a really good superfood salad(added chicken too) with a side of chips. Got a ginormous banoffee pot to take home with me to enjoy. Think it was € 4 — exceptional value. Staff are all very pleasant and nothing is a problem for them. Will continue to go back, again and again.

Love this little gem of an eatery, tucked away in the carrickmines business park. The food is organic, fresh and very tasty with option of wheat free/gluten food. So it ticks all my boxes. I had the superfood salad which was delish, the dressing is very tasty and it comes with spelt bread. As I have a wheat allergy this was a big plus for me. The bread is homemade and I bought a loaf at € 4.00, the eggs Benedict looked really good too. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They were quite young but when i enquired about what I was ordering and that he had to be wheat free etc they were very helpful and knew about allergies and I didn’t feel fobbed off like some places can do. Overall I’m really impressed and prices were reasonable so I will be going back very soon.

This place opened recently and is a very welcome change to the little that is on offer food wise up in Carrickmines shopping park. The staff are friendly and helpful and the décor is fresh, clean and modern with a warm feel to it. However, it’s the food that blows the other eateries over there out of the water! I have been over there quiet a lot since it opened and each time I have tried something different. The quality and presentation of the food is exquisit and the best part is, it’s so reasonably priced! The food is so fresh and the chicken is mouthwateringly delicious and tender. There is a large gluten free range of meals and desserts. The only thing I can faults that their otherwise delicious flourless brownies have nuts in them but that’s it! I am definitely making the Vanilla Pod eatery a priority place to frequent!
