BB’s Coffee and Muffins

Ugh, such a disappointment.
The Mister has now for sure decided he no longer what’s to visit any BB’s.
This place is filthy for starters, looks like it’s not been swept all weekend! The pulled pork wrap was alright but overshadowed by the burnt coffee.
We really dont like it here and won’t be back.

I went there for breakfast. The muffins were lovely and sandwich were very filling. The coffee was excellent. It has a nice relaxed atmosphere but the service was quick and the food was great.

Awful coffee, hostile staff and very rude service. This coffee shop was empty when I popped in for a takeawaay coffee last week. Stood at the empty counter while the girl making coffee refused to acknowledge me (a smile or a nod would be great, maybe eve a hello or I’ll be right with you?!!) Ordered a coffee and received the most awful scalding toxic latte ever. Took forever (as the milk was being boiled/​overheated to temps exceeding the sun) and the coffee was bitter as hell. Staff making sandwiches and coffee were downcast, the atmosphere felt horrible, even as a passing takeaway coffee purchaser. Scalded my mouth on the awful coffee (really), and on the way out spotted the manager and mentioned, on asking if she was the manager «this coffee is really bitter and far too hot». To which she replied, I’ll pass it on? To whom I wonder?? No offer of a replacement/​refund, further questions and she resumed tapping on her laptop. I told her, that’s a really poor response and in fairness she agreed, but what else could she say. She left me and my cup of scald battle our way (along with my buggy through the heavy doors). Would have been nice if she had held the door at least. But no. My view is, dont give businesses like this money, they really dont deserve it.

Absolutely abysmal. Filthy dirty, horrible food, unhelpful staff. Far superior cafes literally next door. Avoid at all costs.

While i may have just put down the BBs in Dun Laoghaire i would like to now take the time to point out that this BBS is completely different in its location. The store is spacious and great to sit and enjoy a muffin or two…
The muffins once again are fairly average, i have had far better but they are by no means bad in any way… just dont expect euphoric moments of food related pleasure
