Carrigaholt Sea Angling Centre

Luke Aston has a wonderfully equipped boat that will take you into the ocean off the Clare coast for some simply out of this world fishing. We saw photos of smiling fishermen and fisherwomen with fish I’d never even heard of and some of the biggest fish I’ve ever seen. Ireland issues certificates for certain fish species over a certain size and Luke has taken many folks out who came back with «certified» catches. No reason to look for a hotel nearby as Mary, Luke’s wife, runs a beautiful little B&B — so like the website says — you can fish and stay. Weather was rough when we were here but I am willing to put my Unilocal reputation on the line when I say you simply cannot go wrong fishing with Captain Luke. You will not be disappointed!
