A bit dark inside. Very much a locals place. This public house is a small way out of town on a hairpin bend. It commands a pleasant view over a little inlet. The people who go there are mostly middle aged farmers. It could do with some smartening up but in fairness it has improved over the past ten years. A little stream runs by it. No tables outside — that could help it a lot in the summer. Singing is encouraged here. Old fashined but not quite quaint.
