Great menu and convenience. Saw hotel guests and outside walk-ins enjoy just the same. I probably appreciated an Asian Fusion restaurant most due to being mid-way through a week of business travel and plain hotel grub. Piping hot dishes and great service. Modern aesthetics matches the look of the Clarion. Had a couple evening meals here and was happy both visits. I had the Asian Style Meatballs and Vegetable Spring Rolls as starters; the Japanese Udon Noodles and the Ayam Pangang as mains. Enjoyed them all.

Kudos is one of the restaurants in the Clarion hotel. It’s located on the lobby floor and also includes some outdoor areas on the quay which is a great location on a nice day. My colleague and I decided to sit out here to enjoy a few frosty beverages on a wonderful afternoon. Beverage service started out great but tapered off once it became more crowded. We ended up deciding to eat dinner here as well after seeing and smelling some other diner’s food. The food ended up being just alright. We started off with the spring rolls which were quite good with a nice dipping sauce. For mains I got the Szechuan beef and my colleague got the«best ever» curry. I was hoping for something a bit more spicy then what I received. The curry I’m told was good, but in both dishes the beef wasn’t the best, tasting a bit overdone and chewy. Service was a bit lackluster at best. Overall I would recommend it for drinks and a nice place to sit outside but I think I would find another place for dinner.

KUDOS Kudos is the quayside restaurant of the Clarion Hotel and well worth a visit. Went there this evening after the Good Wine Show upstairs and, armed with a 20 per cent discount voucher from the show, took a table and thoroughly enjoyed the Asian inspired meal. Started with a house platter: spring rolls, skewered prawns, salad, skewered chicken and so on plus two dips. Delicious. Followed that up with a smashing Beef Teriyaki(€ 14.00). Had tasted some good wines at the show but the Australian Four Sisters Shiraz(€ 6.75 a glass) in the bar was as good as any in the show. I was served by a mixture of nationalities but all were friendly and efficient and indeed informative. Will call again
