Midleton Distillery is responsible for making most of all Irish whiskey. The business first started in 1769. They have been producing Irish Whiskey for nearly 200 years. If you you decide to visit I think you should have a guided tour, as the guides give you alot of information of the history of the buliding and the whiskey that gets made there. Things to see is there largest pot which has a capacity of 30,000 gallons, audio visuals, mills, still houses and kilns. You will also get to sample the brew and whiskey there. They have a restaurant there where I had lunch at, and I went to the craft shop too. So if you enjoy a whiskey or two visit this place, I guarantee you will love it.
