Ah the grange. Ya lil cutie, you :) The only reason I’ve been here is because my nana is obsessssssed with it. That should be a clue in itself of what the place is like. «Will we go out for lunch?» «Sure nana, where?» «The grange for a quick carvery» Standard nana, but in fairness to her small and picky appetite, It’s so perfect for her. The carvery is actually quite delicious. Classic Irish pub roast dinner carvery, but they do it very well. It’s very decent value, for good qual grub. The do half portions also which are soooo perfect for elderly, or if ur Tryna go easy on the carbs. Interior is quite depressing, old pub style. Every time I’ve been in ther I have been at least 30years younger than anyone, Barr the staff. I wouldn’t be grabbing all me mates and running down to the grange, but for a lunch with the grandparents it’s perfecttttt!

From the outside this place looks great, I picture elaborate carvery, clean lines, a bright and modern interior(possibly white walls and exposed dark rafters etc…). The inside is rather different than I had anticipated… It is, firstly, a grand pub, big, good for groups but carpeted and a little dated. They pull a good pint and the guys behind the bar know their business which is not as usual as one would hope in Dublin. They serve food 7 days a week, no idea what it is like, I was just there for the booze!

Definitely an older mans pub, but with a bit more initiative than one would expect. The pub is known for its excellent grub and you will not be disappointed. They also have upstairs areas for functions i think, however this place is first and foremost a traditional pub with everything that goes with that title. Will deliver on everything you expect and a little more!

Big and roomy on the inside with proper pub grub. Breakfast is served till twelve and there’s a carvery every day of the week. Wouldn’t be my first port of call for a mad one but a nice pub nonetheless.

This is a lovely little spot for a quiet pint. It’s more of an older clientale establishment, so you won’t be going on a mad one. But it’s, nice and airy inside with a small but well kept beer garden. The manager of the pub is a charming man, he is a great host and takes the time to make sure that everyone is enjoying themselves, I had a great laugh with him the last time that I was there. Nice spot en route to the beach.
