What a quirky little museum located on Dingle’s coastal drive! The entry is 4 euro and it holds quite an interesting collection of archaeological trinkets, tools and jewelry. I would liken the display of items in this museum to the displays in the National Museum of Ireland in Dublin. It also is the home to the largest full woolly mammoth skull that was fished out of the North Sea. The gift shop has interesting buys that I honestly don’t think you can get anywhere else. And the music in the background was incredible. My mother really liked it and asked about the CDs and the artist. We found out that the owner of the museum is also a musician that is quite skilled with the hammer dulcimer and even was kind enough to give us a beautifully played demonstration! It’s definitely worth a stop to get some fun, bizarre pictures and maybe learn a thing or two!
