Great place to stop of you’re having a long drive. Food was ok; service was great. Chicken Curry was ok I expected better but I’m from the USA so… take that for what it’s worth. Service was great, waitress was cute and funny. I will be back.

Im afraid to leave a review of this place. Next time I come it will be swamped with toursist but oh well. Páidí Ó Sé was a legendary Kerry footballer and manager. He has many photos of his encounters with other celebrities over the years hanging on the walls in his HUGE pub. When you think of quintessential Irish pubs, this IS IT! Located out on the Gaeltacht where Irish is spoken as a first language. No corny shamrocks and leprechauns on the walls. People here were so warm a friendly! Plenty of room to sit at table or join the craic at the jumpin’ bar. Great draught selection. They even have local Kerry beers. I was on a mission so I drank vodka/​Lucozade like it was going out of style. I believe they open at noon. Take a drive and find this place… you will not be disappointed but ya might wanna find a near-​by B&B because ya might end up staying a while! teacht ar ais go luath
