Doolin ferry will bring you from Doolin on the Clare mainland to one of the Aran islands. When we arrived we were met by two different tickets sellers vying for our business and was quite entertaining to watch. But both are exactly the same price so we went with the ferry ready to go. The journey to Inis Orr was around 25 minutes and the vessel was like an old fishing vessel that went up and down in the choppy waters but gave us a real experience of how the islanders must travel regularly. As it was a lovely clear day we got a great view of both the cliffs of Moher and the landscape of the island. Well worth a visit to the island by ferry. Just watch the children closely.
