We stopped in here during our drive from Galway to Killarney. We saw this little place tucked in from the road and it looked cozy and inviting. The food turned out to be delicious and much of it locally sourced. My personal favorite was the dessert. I had a caramel chocolate dessert of some sort and YUMYUM!!! And we ordered café lattes for take-away that were fantastic. If you’re driving through Doolin, make sure you stop in here for a relaxing lunch.

What a great little spot! The town is tiny, and this café is tucked back from the road in the corner of the main street. We were driving through and stopped in for breakfast just when they opened at 9:30. We sipped our tasty cappuccino while waiting on our Irish breakfasts. I was enjoying watching the pastry case and counter fill up with so many freshly baked, amazing looking pastries. She just kept bringing more and more out and they were beyond picturesque. Our breakfast consisted of sausage and crispy bacon with a fried egg and oven-roasted tomato on a fresh poppyseed roll. HUGE but so delicious we all cleared out plates. Great prices, friendly staff, cute interior, lovely garden, and DELICIOUS food.

Yes, this is as good as it gets. We wandered about Ireland trying fish chowder wherever we were and as a group, this one stood out above the rest. While we were a bit surprised it took a few minutes longer than expected for the food to arrived, we were pleasantly surprised to discover that this chowder was made to order. Stuffed full of all kinds of fresh seafood and vegetables and dusted with a tad of dill, they got it PERFECT! We all agreed at the same time — and said«This is it!!!» Cute restaurant, great location, good service, wonderful baked goods. But, don’t leave without getting that chowder.
