Nice place, fairly pricey though. I had ‘chicken a la crema’ which, although it is not very sophisticated option itself, was nicely cooked and tasty. I should’ve given the dessert a miss as it wasn’t something special and definitely wasn’t worth my 7 euros. This place could be a good option if you’re in the area, otherwise it’s not really worth the travel from the city centre.

Overall, this is very nice place. For the starter we shared cyprese di bufalo. I though«Italian» cuisine is full of bread but not in this place. We had to ask for some bread. Instead of butter we’d got a margarine. Salad come before our drinks but was very nice. I really like mozzarella and it’s hard to screw that dish. For a main we order Fettuccine dal mare(with spaghetti pasta) and pollo ala crema and two main course were lovey. highly recommend! For deserts we had tiramisu which was completely tasteless and vanilla ice cream with the meringue and«home» made chocolate. Id say chocolate was very cheap and never homemade. My opinion, from the staff to the guests, there is nothing Italian in this place.

Cute Italian restaurant on the Drumcondra Road. It’s nice and spacious and the bathrooms are clean and well looked after. I have eaten here twice and I suppose i should review it… The have pretty good lunch specials. The first time I ordered the frutti di mare which was overpowered with the big chunks of smoked salmon that was in the dish. I couldnt taste the other seafood in the pasta dish as all I got was more and more salty, smoked salmon… hmm not a good start. Then to wash out the taste of the salmon I ordered teh chocolate mousse which was super thick… like think unfrozen ice cream… The second time I came, I was greeted by a lovely woman who understood I was in a hurry to eat and run for an appointment. Service was great and this time I ordered the pasta carbonara which was flipping delicious. Tender bacon bits with cheesy stringy creamy carbonara sauce. I would go back but with so many paces to eat I won’t be in a hurry.

Had dinner here on a wet quiet Monday night. My fiancé chose from the early bird menu. She had bruschetta to start and enjoyed it, although portion was small. Her main of chicken and mushroom pasta was pleasant but nothing special. I had meat balls for starter which was nice. My main of pizza which was supposed to be spicy but wasn’t was decent enough but again fairly average. Service was friendly and attentive. Overall a nice place but nothing spectacular.

i was here only last week and i found the food to be only adequate for the price. i asked for something off the main menu when the others at my table were ordering from the specials and i actually felt the breeze on my face as the waitress huffed and puffed(tutting) as i was so ‘awkward’! so i asked her in a polite tone of voice was i being awkward,(me awkward? never!) she quickly changed her tune and said no, of course not! then the pasta came out dry but the chef added more sauce on my request which turned out nice in the end and at least i left full. i didn’t go for dessert as no dessert if worth € 6 in my opinion!

Great classic italian restaurant. Portions are okay, pasta cooked perfectly. Nice selection of pasta, chicken, beef and fish dishes. Special early bird pricing(pre-theater). Parking can be a hassle here.

this place is nice. Its on the side of the busy airport road out of dublin — but on a nice summers day you can sit outside and catch the sun until half 7 and the traffic doesnt really cause any problems. Its a realy tony soprano style place to get some dinner. the service is good and they do an extermely tasty lemon /chilli chicken. Delicous. You can sit around and drink nice wine in your tracksuit bottoms if ya like. Its drumcondra. I love it. Nobody cares.

I stumbled upon this place by accident, one Sunday afternoon but have returned many times since. A great, reasonably priced pizza and pasta menu and extensive wine list. The service is superb and efficient, and their early bird menu is great in these recession times. Located in Drumcondra on Dublins northside, this small Italian stlye restaurant has become a firm favourite!

A hidden gem in Dublin. On the road to the Dublin Airport, this true Italian eatery is delightful. The menu is well thought-out with pastas and pizzas sharing space with steaks and seafood. The food when it arrives is exactly like mama would have made and the ravioli will make you want to lick the bowl it came in. The wine list has offerings from all over the world and goes very well with all items on the menu. Families and couples looking for a tasty meal out and some ambience are both taken care of here. I’ve always found the staff to be efficient and friendly and the kitchen being visible makes for some good entertainment while you wait for your dinner(which is never long).
