Excelente para tomar un café o chocolate caliente en las maravillosas mañanas y tardes frías de Dublin. Muy buen servicio y lugar agradable.

Nice little location and I like the fireplace inside. Food is really good as well. Would get 5 stars if they had chai lattes and potatoes with the eggs. Overall, very nice place

This is a great little coffee shop which do very tasty salads/sandwiches and the coffee would be described as standard continental! The staff are very friendly and the ower is a Dutch lady who also makes homemade cakes(try the Dutch apple pie!). The open fire is a must during the cold winter months!

Strolling through the park at Saint Patrick’s, you might find yourself in need of something sweet… Bite of life is the answer and can bring more joy than expected from its little storefront. Incredibly quick waitstaff and mouthwatering pastries and sandwiches are features of this darling café. A wrap and tea later and I have never been so impressed by a coffee shop. Good food that will leave you feeling great

This café was in a great location and definitely has potential but on the day we were there it was dirty with dishes on the tables and food and leaves on the floor. The kitchen was so unsanitary that I was worried my food was going to make me sick. We ordered smoothies… they were sour and tasted warm. Would not recommend until management gets its act together.

Wow! Last several hours in Dublin, companion and I have strolled through St. Stephen’s Green and admired St. Patrick’s Cathedral and what do we find? A lovely little café with an outdoor chalkboard sign boasting Dutch Apple Pie. We decide we must split a piece. It was nothing short of absolutely amazing with the most delicious homemade cream. We did not sample anything else but my GOD was that pie the most excellent pie I’ve ever had. Bite of Life was a very cute café with very friendly staff. I’m sure their other treats and coffee are quite good. Should I ever find myself back in Dublin I’ll be making a beeline for their door.

I come here very often in the morning and the great people working there help me start the day right! This café has a very local and authentic feeling. Their porridge is only 3.50 and comes with banana and honey — very good deal. Their salads are very tasty(probably the best salads in a café you can get in Dublin, imho) and healthy. The make real, fresh juice(beetroot, ginger, apple, orange), which is not something you can easily get in Dublin! The décor is very cozy with a real fireplace and comfy benches. Plenty of regulars that you can spot every morning. They have a picture of Earth there with a quote from Carl Sagan about the Pale Blue Dot. Read it when you’re there! Also — they are open on Sundays! A rarity for cafes in Dublin.

Its a great place for a quick takeaway as any hot sandwich tastes fantastic! But unfortunately its rarely quick as the ques during lunch time are really long. Also they tend to mix up the orders or just prepare the wrong stuff because of really high noise levels.

Was really impressed with this place. It’s a small shop but it’s very welcoming and cozy. After walking through Dublin we were looking for a place to eat on our way to St. James cathedral and this place was nearby. The staff were very friendly and made us feel at home. We had a couple of the sandwiches and they were quite tasty. Decent prices too! While we didn’t try it the salads they offered looked good as well.

This was the perfect stop before heading over to St. Patrick’s Cathedral. It’s a very small and cozy spot. I could have stayed in the corner near the wood burning fireplace all day. I had a coffee and the Pesto Chicken sandwich and it was delicious. I wanted to get some pastries and save them for later, except that I would have to carry it with me while visiting sites. The staff there was friendly and very homey like. I felt like I was sitting in their kitchen while they were baking and cooking.

Yummy food, friendly service, and a great atmosphere make for a perfect place to lunch at A Bite of Life. I wandered upon this lovely spot while visiting St. Patrick’s Cathedral, and I’m so glad I did because it reminded me of the cafes I love to frequent in Santa Monica, CA.

This place is delicious! I especially love their freshly made salads. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Today I spotted an orange and lemon tart that I’ll be back to taste. In short, you have to go to there!

Yet another spot in Dublin that I have been meaning to try for quite sometime. I only stopped in for an espresso so I did not get to try the food but the display looked great and with lots of variety. I enjoyed the vibe of the spot, it kinda reminds me of a country kitchen of an eccentric Granny that traveled the world as it has that wise feel about. Looking forward to eating there… Oh the espresso was great!

Some things in life are bad, they can really make you mad Other things just make you swear and curse When you’re chewing on life’s gristle, don’t grumble give a whistle This will help things turn out for the best Always look on the bright side of life Always look on the bright side of life Ok sorry just everytime I see the sign for Bite of Life I can’t help, but sing Bright side of life in my head. I think it’s something to do with bite and bright rhyming! Anyways! This is a good little shop to pop into if you need to warm your bones and fill up on some coffee! They’ve also got a good selection of different sandwich fillers and everything always looks fresh and home made. Much better than the slop you get in a Spar sandwich!
