On Sunday I was catching up with my pal, we were shopping in Dundrum for 70% off sale, we got hungry and popped in for a cuppa of cappuccino with an apple crumble pie, it was ok… Nothing fancy, very simple café, but staff was friendly and it wasn’t packed, people weren’t climbing on each other like in Butlers downstairs Priceweise…hmm a bit overpriced… yes it’s in Dundrum but it’s not Starbucks…

Always busy, but strong coffee and pastries, I know they do sandwiches and I am sure they are good, but like Howard’s way, I can only mark based on the coffee and cake. Nice design, but it is busy and you are sitting close to your neighbours, similar to my last review with Howard’s Way. I certainly recommend Brambles, not the other branches mind you, but that’s another story. Strange guy ament I lol

Came here for lunch. Great range of food on the menu and usually have friendly staff behind the counter. Plenty of seating as well. Bread was kind of stale during this visit, however this is not common to my previous visits.

Not even average. Service was all over the place. Coffee was far too hot. The chocolate on my biscuit cake was melted away so it was just falling apart. Don’t think you get value for money here either. Definitely wouldn’t be my first choice for coffee here. Even Starbucks is better!

Shambles would be a better name. Firstly the service is beyond bad and down right rude. You know you are in for a fun time when the girl behind the counter sighs and squaks«is that all you want». The pastries were average and coffee OK but a tad bitter. I won’t be making a return trip.

I have to knock a star off here due to phantom Ciabattas. Here’s what happens. I order a Ciabatta, the staff member acts like they’re looking for them only falling short of scratching their head before saying«sorry, we’re all out. Would you like a roll!?» I said it to the manager the third time I got the«we’re all out» at 12:30. He assured me he would have them next time. Guess what they didn’t have on my next visit. The staff here are quite pleasant but if you don’t sell Ciabattas then don’t have it on the menu.

We ordered our hot choc and a lemon cheese cake… Unfortunately we received 3 forks and 1 knife and… lemon morangs… Ai. After asking to get a knife, we got another fork… Mmmm… Bad start Ok, when we got what we ordered, it was tasty indeed, but its far from what I was hoping: a bit slushy, and misses the kick I was hoping for, the lemon attack of my taste-buds. Petty…

Nice little café. Good menu choices. Nice strong coffee. Plenty of outdoor seating, 2 levels inside. Who knew you could ruin scrambled eggs. & toast? Husband did not get correct order. Stick with coffee.

i love the two café in dundrum, me and friends went shopping last week and stopped for lunch. i tried the butternut squash and rosemary torte with fresh salads which was yummy. the girls had a paninni and caeser salad which they both said were reall off shopping we went, after a couple of hours of retail therapy we needed a sit down and ventured into the second brambles. this time it was the cakes which caught our attention, we all shared a slice of pavlova and some cookies and cream cheese cake. both were delish. all washed down with 3nice lattes. all in all a lovely experience

I had the worst cup of «coffee» here the other day. It was dirty dish water with foam on top, and called a cappuccino. The panini I had was dry and unexciting. The whole place just seems to be lack lustre. There aren’t that many other coffee places in Dundrum — Starbucks, and Butlers… but I’d go to either before I’d go back to Brambles

As my son sleeps soundly in ffont of me, i am tucking into what i thought was a little treat after my four mile run this morn. The rasberry roulade I ordered turned out to be more than just a little treat — It is HUGE!!! — way too big in fact. It cost some 5.50Euro but I would prefer half the portion for half the price. It tasted just as it looked though — bloody good!

The Brambles in Dundrum is much more welcoming than the one in the Jervis centre. For one, it’s not located under an escalator. Second, it has good outdoor seating and third, it doesn’t really make you feel you’re in a shopping mall. Nonetheless, it still serves the same unappetizing dishes. I was hungry when I came in for a coffee, but I didn’t get the slightest bit tempted by the food options. The quiche looked like it had been sitting there for a good part of the week and the salads looked a bit tired. But my coffee was really good and strong. Fine place to rest with your shopping-bags before the journey home, where hopefully, a nice home-cooked meal will be waiting for you.

This is a nice place in Dundrum to come and have a sit down after a long day shopping. … in fact if you are too tired to walk to one of their stores they have another located in another part so you dont have to go far for Brambles ever! Which is good because Dundrum Town Centre is HUGE! The tea and coffee is fairly standard… they have some nice food and i believe the coffee is nice too though im more of a tea man myself. They have everything from a sandwich to a big hot lunch food wise and, lovely salads too which are quite tastey tastey. Yum

Brambles is a family run café that has two locations in Dundrum Town Centre, one outside as you enter the centre and a bigger, more centrally located one on the middle floor of the centre. It’s an open space restaurant and is a good meeting spot for a coffee or a bit of lunch. The food is really tasty — I like their chicken and broccoli bake — and they do everything from soup, to quiche, sandwiches, salads, cakes and coffees. I do think it’s a little over priced though, but still not a bad spot for a bite to eat.
