Revisited this with a different friend and was less impressed. I had noticed the staff were a little bit pushy before but it really seemed to be fine. This time it really got on my wick! Normal procedure in these places is to have a root and to pick out and try what you think you might like one… then the person in the shop should make a few suggestions based on what you’ve said you like/​want or if you’re unsure. This usually take about an hour.
This time the assistant ignored everything we had picked out and started with what she thought my friend should wear… based on her figure hidden by a winter coat… only after a luke warm response to these dresses did the assistant reluctantly bring us the dresses that my friend had picked out, and was positively hostile to anything I picked out while my friend was in the changing room. After this she seemed to sulk a bit and didn’t show us any more dresses… we ended up leaving the shop after about 30 minutes.
The slightly cheaper prices really don’t make up for this lapse in service!
