Very helpful staff, and good selection for larger size mens shoes. In general I find that high street shoe shops stock up to size 11, and even if they have size 12 they are generally too small. Clarks sizing is always consistent, and they had ample selection of size 12’s. Bought two pairs, light blue suede derby style, and comfortable brown Nature Three shoes with active air. Very pleased with purchase, and with staff. P. S. if you ask for a reduction, they may just give you one — I got 10% off the second pair, and the first ones were already reduced by 20%, so that was nice.

Comfiest shoes ever. Seriously. I once walked the streets of Manhattan in a newly bought pair of Clarks leather boots, fully expecting my feet to be red raw at the end of it, but got barely a blister. I called in a few days ago to pick up a pair of shoes for work and got really excellent service too. Love my new comfy shoes and pretty decent at € 50 for leather.

Clark’s was a lifesaver when, on the first day vacation, it was clear that my «great walking shoes» were not going to provide my feet the comfort I needed. To save my feet(and my boyfriend and my vacation) I popped into Clarks to pick up a pair of shoes. Between shoppers and 50% sale racks the store was busy, but the employees quickly found my size and I left with a pair of shoes that I loved, that that made my trip much more enjoyable(and at € 50 it was a steal)!

A sure sign that my tastes in shoes is maturing, I’m sure, but I am finding myself liking an increasing percentage of the shoes in Clarks. Yes, they are oh so practical, and yes, most are very plain and rather uninspired, but they are soooooo comfortable, and they do half sizes too, which is brilliant for me as my feet are 6 and a half, and I usually have to pinch my toes into a 6 or don a pair of woolly socks in a size 7. Clarks is where we were brought for school shoes and runners as a kid. Though all of our clothes were Dunnes Stores hand-me-downs from my(male) cousins, my parents were strong believers that you can’t compromise on quality when it comes to children’s shoes, just in case we ended up with warped little trotters. A few years back I used to think EEEK! not Clarks, but recently I have bought two pairs of lovely ankle boots in here, one in dark burgundy with rouched detail and a small bow, and the other in pale grey with a suede rim. Gorgeous, soft, comfortable, and perfect for dressing up on a winter’s night out.
