Maybe this place is not for everybody but I simply love it. A bunch of Italians rents otherwise(retro-alternative?) pub during the day transforming it into a great café. They provide very tasty food and drinks from the best Italian ingredients. All served in a very cozy, beautiful and warm south Italian style. First comers can be bit in doubts since the café is far from a posh or noble restaurant, however you will be quickly swirled by its unique atmosphere and very friendly staff. It’s a place you will definitely love to return to say«buon giorno»! Their lunch menu deals are best deals in Dublin in the quality/price ratio. You can also enjoy eating in the adjacent back garden.

SUPER friendly and nice staff here. There was a real energy for it being first thing in the morning. The barista was humming and singing to himself the waitress was joking with customers, laughing chatting in Italian with the barista. Really really good vibe from the place. I had read from other reviews about the great atmosphere and it did not disappoint. I also read about this sugery coffee syrup the give in stead of auger packets which I really was excited to try ! But disappointingly it was nowhere to be found :(just normal packets of sugar for me. But it was 5 past 8 when I was there so maybe they just hadn’t made it up yet, however it was the reason I went to try here so I makes it down a star for it. The coffee itself was good definitely above average quality It is out of my way so I won’t have the chance to drop in very often but definitely if you are near by I would recommend trying it. Again atmosphere was great :)

This place just appeared one day in the Bernard Shaw, it was like a David Blaine magic trick although fortunately he is not in a box starving in the corner. Although I haven’t been to Italy this is how I imagine an authentic Italian café would be. Good looking fast talking waitresses, delicious food great coffee and cheap as well. I love this place, the food is genuinely delicious. Pannini’s, soup and salads galore. All amazing. Been a couple of times for lunch when I can, but my partner goes in all the time for coffee and food and never gets tired of the place. Why are there not more café’s like this and 10⁄10 for trying something different and making use of the very fine Bernard Shaw.

I have started to get my morning coffee here at Coffee Together and I am now wondering why I haven’t been before. It’s a no brainer: it’s the best coffee in the immediate area(where there is an over abundance of coffee places) and it’s also the cheapest. 2EUR for a Reg/Tall/Med/whateveryourhavingyourself Americano. The people are great too, I love the Italian charm and they have loads of it here. When I walk back outside I realise I am back in Ireland… oh well, its nice for a few minutes to pretend I am in Italy. Also the lunchtime food remains top notch. I highly recommend their panini’s with a side salad, delicious.

I HAVEFOUNDMYLOCALCOFFEEHAVEN! My cappucino was slightly bitter so I was like«hmm, where is the sugar.» Then saw a big bowl of brown creamy goo on the counter…“what’s this?” I think out loud. Barista: «it’s a blend of coffee and sugar. It’s much smoother than just adding sugar» She then asks how much sugar I’d usually take, then estimates how much of this I’d need. I stirred it in, lifted it to my lips, it touched my tongue and tastebuds went«OM». Absolutely delish. I was well pleased. Food menu looks good and reasonably priced. Will be back soon to try it(and will update my review!). Décor is cute and cosy. As if the Bernard Shaw wasn’t cool enough already…

WOW. I am not the biggest fan of using all caps but I am shouting WOW at you right now. During the weekdays The Bernard Shaw pub is a café. € 5 for one of the most delicious sandwiches that I have ever had in the world, sincerely. I had the roasted ham with artichoke and the bread, oh my goodness the bread was made by angels on high… Not they were high but you know they fly and stuff. Italian food to me at it’s core is simple and tasty. The menu is simple and small but the flavouring, the combinations… The bread! And the service?! I just spent two hours in Italy today, that’s how authentic it is. Leo and Daria have big personalities and fill the café with life and humour and passion, buckets of Italian passion. The music is Italian, the baby that was passed around and squeezed by all the Italians, I hope is Italian… It must be because it was loving the attention. Small inside but brimming full of fantastic food for small budgets… Oh the coffee?! Superb! Go!
