Maybe it’s because Cornucopia is the only 100% vegetarian restaurant in Dublin, but I feel this place is overrated. That, or the US — specifically cities like San Francisco — have a much higher standard for vegan food. All of the recipes at Cornucopia seem overly complicated. For a place that essentially serves cafeteria style I’d expect the dishes to be more simple classics. Also, for the price I’d expect made to order food and table service. The other day I came for breakfast and they were out of tofu scramble :(Seems like tofu is something that you should always have in stock right? That was disappointing especially given that their breakfast menu skews more vegetarian versus vegan. Bottom line — this place is ok but Dublin seems quite vegan-friendly at other locations so I probably won’t come back here.

I got tired of all the fried food and was looking for something healthy + delicious, Cornucopia was absolutely everything I wanted and more. Great portion, super flavorful, and guilt free because it’s actually nutritious food. I can’t say enough how much I love this place, and I’m not even a vegan or a vegetarian!

I was so happy to find a vegan restaurant in Dublin! I dragged the rest of my non-vegan family into this place and they loved it. Friendly staff and delicious food. Went back twice during my time in Dublin.

I have been here 3 times as my friend is vegan and she loves this place. Food is good(the bit i tried), I love their veg juices. But unfortunately I couldn’t eat much of their food as there was soy in a majority of it. So the times I went in I felt like a pain asking whats in everything. It would be nice if the ingredients were under each item as I have a few allergies and a lot of people have. But I am still giving it 4 stars, if I wasn’t allergic to soya, I would be in there all the time. ;)

Delicious vegetarian and vegan options in a relaxed canteen style setting. Went for dinner here on a Thursday night and it was packed, we just about got a table. I had the vegetarian lasagne with a broccoli and beetroot salad, yummers. Perfect place to grab some healthy informal food.

This is a really solid option for vegans and vegetarians. You have many options– from hot items to various salads and veggies. They also serve wine. It’s usually busy so getting a table can be an obstacle, but it’s worth it! There’s a nice atmosphere– buzzing but not too loud. The staff are super friendly and seem to really enjoy what they’re serving you. The only negative in my view is the price! For a dinner plate, it can be a bit on the higher end, but you’re paying for quality and you do get it. So save it for a special occasion but definitely do go!

If you’re needing pure healthy goodness, this is the spot. Raw soups, what a treat! But really, 5 euro for a small bowl of soup that you’re going to be hungry after? Ouch.

We are visiting from the US and found this wonderful restaurant on Unilocal.Wow! What a great find. The food was so healthy and SO delicious! There were several different menu choices and all accompanied by multiple salad choices. It was so refreshing in a place where meat is standard. I needed so veggies and I was extremely satisfied at Cornucopia! I only wish we at a similar restaurant where I’m from in Denver.

I went there on a Saturday for lunch. It was quite busy and the service is slow but loads of seats so it was easy to sit. The concept is you choose a main and two salads. They also have soups and bread. They have vegan and gluten free dishes. Had the timballo topped with pesto which was filling and very tasty. The raspberry tart was the perfect ending to the lunch as it wasn’t too sweet. It made me think about The happy pear and it was honestly delicious. Maybe a little expensive but I think it’s worth it.

I finally had the chance to try this place! Got a voucher some time ago and it was almost expiring. The food was really good, just as I was told =) Prices are OK — you can get a nice, generous meal for about 12 – 14 euros. Im not a vegetarian but I appreciated the food options here. The place was packed when we arrived but we were luck enough to get a table — it was lunch time. I had a delicious wrap with some lentil soup. Totally recommended that soup, it was super tasty. Not sure if i would go back because it was packed and noisy. But Im glad I tried it.

I’m not a vegetarian but this place is made for anyone who enjoys a healthy living. Their salads and hot food are gorgeous, I just thought that the place needs a little more space and more lightning as well.

I read they were a veggie restaurant so naturally one holiday, one tries to eat healthy and this fits the bill. They had been closed for Xmas the day before, so they said they didn’t have everything prepped and offered to fill the breakfast we ordered with extra bits they did have. Over all most was there and I got the veggie breakfast with hash browns, beans, mushrooms, sausages and tomatoes. It was very nice and comes with either tea/coffee. The mushrooms were the best part, I think they are roasted with chili oil, so tasty and it was a huge portion. I would certain recommend it and go back next time I am in Dublin.

I wasn’t feeling so well on that day and I was totally in the mood for a vegan lunch and nothing else, so we decided to go to this restaurant. There was a long queue when we entered in Cornucopia but we directly found a place to sit and I actually didn’t wait that long to get some food, the service was very efficient and helpful. My boyfriend took a wrap with some tomato and lentil soup, he really enjoyed both. I’ve tasted the soup too and it’s true that it was very good. I’ve taken the day’s casserole(sweet potato, carrots, and I think beans in a coconut and soy sauce with coriander, served on rice) as well as some black beans and green beans with tofu salad. All was just awesome, I really enjoyed my meal, the tofu was amazing, and the casserole was very good too. The price was totally fair. I can’t wait to go back there.

Twas an quite a visit today. I have been to Cornucopia several times, today I decided to do a review as I’ve never done so. hahaah. Today I had Soup, Salad and Dessert. The Soup and Dessert I wholeheartedly enjoyed. the Salad not so much. Now as regards the staff, they were very accommodating. I’ve never had an issue with Staff or their foods hence why I keep going back to em. hahaha. The only thing I would say is to offer MORE vegan alternatives ie HOT foods. I wanted the Baked cheese thing, However as it wasn’t Vegan, I had to make do with Salad, with as you can gather, did not enjoy. The Soup was a mushroom creamy consistency. Green in color as per the pic. It was absolutly heaven. Totally enjoyed it. My next was the Salad, I was hoping for a hot dish, however it wasn’t to be, as the stuff I wanted was Cow cheese instead my baby Violife Cheese which is Vegan. So I stuck with the Salad, of which I didn’t enjoy it one bit. Oh their was taste no doubt, but I just didn’t care for it. So I moved onto the Dessert, as I said to my colleague, I like to «end on a sweet note» as per what my mother would say. hahha. I had a lovely Tart of which was a lovely soft consistency texture, and a crumbly base. It was all heaven. hehehe.

One of the few strictly vegetarian restaurants around Dublin, this place has been here for many years. I used to pop in for the veggie breakfast a lot back in the day. I was in town early the other day and thought it would be a healthy choice. I had the breakfast with scrambled tofu(who knew that was a thing?!), mushrooms, veggie sausages and coffee. It was all tasty although the jury is out on the tofu! Its always busy but the staff are friendly and its reasonably priced too.

It doesn’t matter if you’re vegan or vegetarian or just a person who enjoys delicious food, there is something here for everyone. My sister and I enjoyed it so much that we came back again the very next day. The fresh pressed juices are fantastic and I would definitely recommend the Heart Beet. As far as main dishes go, everyone is cleaning their plates here. It’s hard to pick a favorite. Loved it so much we bought the cookbook(which came with a free glass of wine!) On a sidenote, if you are a raw foodist, vegan, vegetarian, egg free, gluten-free, just don’t like to eat anything crappy, everything is labeled and convenient. Enjoy it!

Location: City Center of Dublin. Can it be any closer Service: Totally friendly. Expalins everything of you and look after you all the time :) Food: This is awesome. So many options and it all tastes so f*cking good. Unbelievable. You can combine a main dish with salads as you like. Offerting eating there, take away and cooled for eating in a few hours. All fresh and nice. Speechless I am ;) It is not the traditional irish food, but in my opinion the best food you can get in Ireland. Summary: GOTHERE! NOW!

I’ve never been so spoiled for choice! My new fav. place! I’m super picky, I have a long list of things I don’t eat, so I was hopeful going to a Vegetarian restaurant with such high reviews. Something happened here that almost never happens to me… I had so many options, I actually had to PICK one! It was tough, I would have loved every single thing on the menu, can’t remember that ever happening. You choose a main and then 2 salads from a wide selection of 8 different kinds(coleslaw, potato salad, fruit salad etc. etc.) and again, I was spoiled for choice! Everything looks delicious, I will definitely be back again and again, to work my way through it all. The portions are generous, I had the roasted pepper quiche which was fantastic, and I couldn’t finish my sides(garlic potatoes are amazing!). I also had one of their fresh juices which was also fab, you can get them bottled(also made fresh in house) or order one from the menu and make your own combo. I visited a second time and just had tea and an oat bar with some red fruits and it was also absolutely divine, again hard to pick just one from their selection, I could have had one of each! It’s very popular and gets very busy, but it’s absolutely worth the wait. This place is a dream come true, it’s satisfying in every way: the food, the price, the portions, the service, the healthy factor, even the location is very convenient… win, win across the board!

What a great, great restaurant for vegetarians/vegans, & everyone else looking something different, to have right in the heart of Dublin. It’s a slightly dark interior, even on the sunny day that I went in there. I actually didn’t mind this, it’s in keeping with the style of having everything natural and there was hardly an artificial light to be seen making it relaxing on the eyes. You order food up at a counter where you can see it all before you, I felt spoilt for choice and the staff were super friendly & knowledgeable with any questions I had about the food. I decided to go for the butternut squash ragout &2 side salads for € 13.95. The food was simply delicious, I don’t think I’ve had vegan food that’s tasted this good(I haven’t had much vegan food full stop but this would convert you. In a heartbeat) It seemed to be getting really busy for lunch, like queue-out-the-door-busy, so you might try & avoid that. The only bad thing is the prices are slightly steep, but at least I can guarantee you’ll be full to the brim after & and you’ll still feel healthy. In short: Amazing vegan/vegetarian restaurant that has food to rival any top restaurant in Dublin.
