Delicious and original raw food dishes. I really liked the risotto and the pizza. Also the banana ice-cream was amazing. I would definitely go there again if I want to eat healthy and cruelty-free! Dublin needs more places like this…

Purchased the 6 course tasting Groupon for when my sister, a vegetarian, was going to be visiting from the states. Well when I called to book a table, i was told unapologetically that you have to call 24 hours ahead of time if you’re using a groupon(unusual, but whatever) so I asked about the next day and I was told bluntly they had no tables available. Unfortunate, but perhaps I should have called sooner. I tried again a few weeks later(sister gone at this point) and my phone calls were NEVER answered. I called multiple times during their stated business hours. I emailed them twice and NEVER received any response. Completely inexcusable. And so disappointing because the concept of this place is so intriguing. This business does not deserve to succeed– spend your hard earned cash elsewhere!

I just started a raw food diet and I was so happy to have found this little gem. The food was amazing but the service was not great.

I was very impressed with Sseduced when I went there last weekend. The staff are so friendly, and when asked told us all about the food, the process and the ingredients. The owner also came around and introduced herself before our meal. The food was fantastic, I has hesitant at first, but it was really worth. If you are looking for healthy, tasty, organic food in Temple Bar, it’s the place to go.

I had a Groupon deal for a 6 course tasting menu for 2 and as a coeliac I was curious to try it out. It took me 4 days of ringing with no answer and sending emails to book a reservation. I received an email from the owner at one point who seemed very nice and apologised for the delay but also failed to make the reservation or sort out the problem for me! The restaurant premises needs a lot attention. The place is tiny, I’d say there is room for about 20 people max, but despite its size there was absolutely no personality or atmosphere — no music playing, no decoration on the walls, nothing… The kitchen is right in the middle of the restaurant with just a fabric wall separating the eating and preparation areas. There didn’t seem to be an extractor fan in the kitchen so all the windows in the restaurant were fogged up when we were there, not a big issue but smells and noises from the kitchen were also very evident. The service was friendly, but just so bad. Before we were even seated, standing in the middle of the restaurant, we were asked to hand over our Groupon voucher. Food was plonked in front of us without any explanation and as we hadn’t ordered from a menu we had no idea what we were getting. I tried to engage the server a couple of times to ask about the food but eventually just gave up. The food was equally uninspiring. For a raw restaurant there was hardly any fresh fruit or vegetables served and nothing seemed to be seasoned. Our courses consisted of: a small shot glass of bland celery soup(with none of the onion bread that other reviewers seemed to like); one tiny finger-width slice of pizza(which was actually pretty tasty); a celery and pepper salad with a slimy avocado sauce; a tasteless wild rice risotto that was almost inedible it was so raw; a curry dish that included more inedible rice, a pool of banana curry mush and some coconut(but no vegetables!); the dessert was carrot cake with chocolate sauce which was easily the best thing we ate and then a complimentary shot glass of unsweetened ‘hot chocolate’. We didn’t have to wait long between dishes, which was a plus, but at no point during the six courses(including dessert!) were we offered or given fresh cutlery. No thought seemed to be given to how the food was presented, as was particularly evident with the pool of curry. Throughout the meal we could clearly hear the kitchen staff talking to each other and complaining about the long hours they were being asked to work, about having to wash dishes, about customers who were late for a reservation and generally about the inconvenience of having to prepare food for us, so it felt a bit awkward to say the least. My main issue with Sseduced is that it seems to have so much potential but has totally failed to meet it due to mis-management, poor customer service and lack of attention to detail. I understand that they might have been having a particularly bad night but I certainly won’t be back.

Great food, lovely staff, bit of a wait after ordering the food. I came in on an «off» day where on the owner(who has never waitressed before) was running the shop). I ordered a pizza slice. She gave me a complimentary slice of bread due to the wait. I enjoyed everything I ate(also had ice cream with a banana sauce). The key to enjoying a place like this is to not be expecting a slice of pizza to be like what you’d get at papa johns or whatever pizzeria you go to. I’m also gluten free, out of necessity, & it know it was very difficult to adjust to the gf versions of things like a donut or pasta. It’s not the same as the glutinous variety. Doesn’t mean it’s not still good.

I was here the other day and while I appreciate how all the food is organic and«raw» and of very good quality, I couldn’t help but be disappointed by a few other aspects of the place. Firstly, that the waitresses made no attempt to show they were trying to make the 25min long wait for a reheated courgette pasta any quicker, it literally seemed as if they were moving in slow motion. I also wasn’t mad about how I could see them putting the food from tupperwear into their special raw-heating thingymajigger. Also, and this was probably my shortcoming, but when I order a Hot chocolate I don’t expect it to be luke warm. To be fair though, they did reheat it for me when I asked and explained that it has be heated to 42 °C for it to be «raw». What really grinded my gears though was that it took 15mins for my sister’s «cappaucino» to come out, and frankly it was about as frothy as a bowl of tomato soup. I think it comes back to their whole raw food thing, but if you want to avoid getting people’s hopes up for a foamy, frothalicious cappauncino then just call a spade a spade and advertise the drink for what it is -«semi-warm white coffee». That way everyone knows where they stand and no one gets miffed! But as I said, the food was really good quality so props to them for that.

I had my first«Raw» experience on Saturday and what a first it was ! Completely in love with the infectious Silvia who is the owner and chef. She is so passionate about the food while at the same time not preaching. I literally could have sat and listened to her all day and nearly did. It is amazing to see how the food is prepared without being cooked especially the delicious mango curry. The food is only warmed to 42 degrees so it keeps all of the nutrients and still tastes amazing. The curry tasted so fresh and was still creamy and bursting with flavour — I can’t wait to get back and try this dish again. The deserts were literally unbelievable. As someone who is dairy and wheat intolerant it is practically impossible to get a desert that won’t make me sick. SSeduced have managed to far exceed my expectations in this regard. We had a cheese cake that is made with cashew nuts instead of cheese which I would not have believed had I not tasted it myself. The ice cream, again made with cashew, was so creamy and had the perfect amount of sweetness you would never guess it was dairy free. I will without question be back to see Silvia and eat more of this amazing food !

I had the immense pleasure to meet the owner of this brand new raw vegan restaurant during a walking tour of Dublin. We were supposed to have lunch there and I must say I was quite apprehensive at first. The idea behind raw foods it to avoid loosing nutrients by cooking and to ‘activate’ seeds by sprouting them so they«come alive». This food is also easier to digest. I had the mushroom soup(delicious), a mango curry with sprouted wild rice(succulent, surprising, crunchy, creamy), raw pizza packed with tons of different flavors and textures and dessert: cheesecake and carrot cake. The owner was so incredibly charming and passionate about her food that we were all staring like children listening to a bedtime story. The amount of work put into making raw foods(a lot requires sprouting, drying, very slow warming etc…) is astounding and it’s clear that without great passion and will to share, you couldn’t keep it up. I had a look at the menu and it is a little on the expensive side but I intend on treating myself once in a while, my body will thank me for it!
