The lads in here know their stuff and really look after you very well. Won’t try to sell you an expensive bike that you don’t need, but instead will recommend something for exactly what you need. Will generally sort most small things out on the spot aswell. Truly great service you can rely on.

Ah, Sean Duff’s in Donaghmede. Where everybody knows your name. Duff’s Cycles are not exactly a big cycling shop conglomerate like Cycleways. They have two shops in Dublin, one in the Omni Park Shopping Centre and one in Donaghmede. The Donaghmede shop is the smaller of the two, but it still has a good range in mountain bikes, road bikes and hybrids(it hasn’t exactly got a great range of racers). The everyday stuff like tubes and brake pads: they got ‘em in spades. Although the selection isn’t as wide as it would be in other, bigger bicycle shop, Duff’s has the level of friendly service that you can only get in your local shop. Despite their upswing in trade since the ‘Cycle to Work’ scheme, they can still do most jobs on the spot. James or any of the rest of lads will be more than happy to give you any advice that you need. One thing about Duff Cycles in Donaghmede though: they aren’t open on Sundays or Bank Holidays, you’d have to head out to Santry on those days, which isn’t much use to you when you have a bogey front wheel that needs true-ing. Still, the personal touch makes up for this small drawback.
