This was insanely busy when I queued here on Sunday evening, but after 5 – 10 minutes we were comfortably seated(a table of four) away from the noise and bustle of the main restaurant, beside the window, with a good view over the front of the shopping centre and the fountain. Our waiter was bubbly and attentive, our food came out quickly considering how busy the restaurant was that evening. Delicious as always, my parents who are not ‘diner’ people loved their food. The sweet potato fries are a welcome new addition!

I’m often in here having a bite to eat with friends while they are on lunch. This is one of the best located Eddie Rockets i know. It still maintains the usual décor and menu, staff and cooks all have the same outfits etc. but what really makes this place stand out is its view! Once you make your way up the escalators to the back entrance of HMV(avoid HMV with your life) go up one more floor and to your left you will find Eddie Rockets… This vantage point looks down over the Square below with its fountains and the general hustle and bustle. you also get a nice view over a bit of Dublin. You must ask for a window seat because you will only spend your whole meal sitting on another seat wondering what you are missing. The food is the same and all that. They don’t really do the late hours that other Eddie Rockets have because they are inside the opening hours of the shopping centre. You will still leave with Empty Pockets though!
