Insomnia

It’s a long long time since I darkened ‘Insipid’s’ doorstep but at 6am I was more than desparate — and I was not to be disappointed, it’s still as Insipid as ever. I ordered an Espresso Macciato — now in PROPER caffé’s it’s an espresso with a bit of froth on the top, but no, Insomnia couldn’t even do that right, I was given a medium cup of Cappuchino and when I dared to tell the girl it WAS NOT an Espresso Macciato she told me I was wrong, that was the way she’d been told to do it and that was that !!
Some say Insomnia are a successful chain, if that’s so then the Irish aren’t a very demanding race !

This insomnia opened up a couple weeks ago in the Fresh shop. It’s all lovely and new so its pleasant to sit in. They also have a shed load of outdoor seating which is good.
Its pretty much what you’d expect. I would have given a 2 star but the girl behind the counter was friendly and efficient.
