Such a great place to buy gifts and all things Irish made. They showcase Irish designs and prints and always have a great selection in store. It’s a little gem in the middle of Temple Bar and always fun to visit when we are in Dublin. Had made many purchases and my last purchase I picked up the wrong item and took it home with me 5000 miles away, called them and they said just bring it back in for an exchange the next time I visiting home and they will take care of it and that they sure did. Excellent service and staff are super friendly, make sure you check out this cool little place folks.

I brought my cousin here who is a professional prop designer for theater. I had never been before but i heard great things! We were nothing short of delighted to see the wide range of hand crafted items on display. All the local artists names are tagged along with their art and the woman who worked there even gave us the story behind the photographer’s negatives. The art here captures Dublin in a light that can be understood by both tourists as well as locals. I cant wait to go back here to complete my holiday shopping list. Everything is so well crafted that it is the perfect place to get a personal gift for family and friends. Not to mention, buying here means supporting local Irish artists which is a HUGE bonus! #DublinShopsLocal

A fantastic spot to buy a gift! That vast majority of their stock is Irish made and everything is very quirky, which I love. The staff are very helpful, I’ve bought some prints online too and it was a fast efficient service, so great to send a gift to someone abroad. Definitely do some christmas shopping here. #DublinShopsLocal

As an aspiring artist and cartoonist this shop is like my heaven. The amazing thing is how small it is and still I could spend an hour in there looking at every picture. What I love most is the variety from small hand drawn cartoons to some amazing big prices of art. Every time I visit the shop I find something else that I «need» to buy. I think it’s priced very fairly and because of the range of artists there is something for every size budget so don’t be put off by thinking it will all be super expensive. The staff are great –I was there a few weeks ago and spent ages chatting to the girl behind the counter about which ones we both liked and disliked. She knew every artist and their backstory which is great to hear. I also love how local a lot of the art is with iconic Dublin images like the chimneys and lots with that Dublin humour that cracks me up Right in the middle of temple bar but with a really small door it would be easy to pass by.

Jam Art Factory is an old favourite of mine and I’ve featured it on my blog and in free-lance work in the past but hadn’t been in a while so it was great to revisit on Unilocal #DublinDesignNight — run by two great lads who are patrons of the arts and huge supporters of Irish Design this shop is a great place to shop in both in person and online. Great for presents or for hooping for your home. A must for design lovers

I love this boutique/gallery. There is definitely a common thread throughout the art that is displayed/on sale here! They have quite a few Wes Anderson inspired pieces and also framed art for sale. It would be a great shop for gifts, and they also have a website, which I plan to pass out to friends overseas! It’s jam packed with stuff, which now that I think about it, may be why it’s called Jam Factory!

I was looking for a housewarming present for a pal, and through some Unilocal stalking her reviews found that she quite likes the Jam Art Factory(it’s Emily C for those playing at home). I’d actually not noticed this shop on our previous visits to Temple Bar so thanks Unilocal for guiding me here. It’s an amazing gallery-style shop with an amazing range of prints, framed pictures and artwork which can accommodate most budgets. There’s also a good range of cards. I grabbed a print and a card, and found the guy working here to be incredibly friendly. I’ll be honest: I was feeling sick as hell and needed a pub nearby where I could chill for an hour or so. I asked him for his honest advice and he recommended a couple of places nearby on the edges of Temple Bar. Sadly we didn’t take up his recommendations but they were appreciated all the same! Prices were really good — as I said, there is something here for every budget. There were some framed prints that I liked and they were also being sold as solo prints for about ¼ of the price so you could choose which suited you. If you like Dublin and interesting gifts, this is a place you’ve got to go. I also endorse gift-shopping for yourself, so don’t think you need to buy for someone else!

Enter at your own risk! Shopaholic or not, this place will seduce you and make you want to buy all the pretty, witty and crafty items it has on display. If you’re looking for something unique and produced by local artists or designers, look no further. The shop itself is quite small but there’s plenty to chose from in there, from postcards to mug mats, Dublin inspired posters and prints with pop culture references. The staff is very welcoming, even if you’re just browsing — they must know you won’t be long coming back to buy something — and they were very helpful packing the artwork I bought there and also spontaneously telling me more about what I was buying, like info about the artist or the reasons behind that work. Don’t skip it when looking for a gift!

Jam Art Factory is great for unique presents. Christmas shopping sorted! Always good to support local artists and designers rather than getting the same old stuff on the high street.

Just as with the other location, the Jam Art Factory is not to be missed when you’re looking for a present for someone, or even just something cool for yourself. The majority of the stuff in here is Irish made, so worth buying for that alone, but honestly, the design and artistic merit of 99% of everything in here sells itself, Irish or non-Irish. The staff are always super helpful too, so if you’re looking for something in particular, for someone in particular, give them a shout, they’ll most definitely be able to help. Just a quick note that their card machine currently doesn’t take Visa, but they have a tinternet device that you use with your phone to allow you to buy with it. A little bit extra hassle but not too bad.
