Ok lads, here’s a heads-up for you: Valentine’s Day is a month away! You might want to set a reminder on your phone so you won’t forget to get your girlfriend some flowers.
Joy’s is a good place to get flowers because they do some lovely bouquets, that feel really special. They even have a range, which includes chocolates, just for romantic occasions. The staff here are very nice and helpful and you can also order the flowers online and have them delivered. The only downside is that Joy’s flowers are pretty expensive so really only for special occasions.

Joy’s is a bright and pretty florist on Ranelagh mainstreet. The name alone is an advertisement in itself — not only does it conjure up images of a nice lady called Joy arranging flowers behind a counter cascading with colourful blossoms, but of all the joyful moments you will be bringing to the recipient of the bouquet.
Apparently the florist has been here for 20 years now, and they have built up a strong client base with some of Dublin’s top businesses and restaurants. They offer a very personable service for individual customers too, and the girl behind the counter was very helpful the last time I was in. They are a bit on the pricey side though, bouquets for special occasions only.
Speaking of which, they currently have a special debs offer of corsage, mothers bouquet and a box of choccies for € 50.
