This is a great little spot for breakfast/lunch. Full Irish all the way! Make sure you order extra black pudding(because it’s the nicest black pudding you’ll have in your life!) They do really nice take away sandwiches at lunchtime too. Staff are always cheerful. It’s an all round great café.

A brilliant place for brunch. They do a serious fry. The real gems are the eggs Benedict and Florentine. I haven’t been for lunch but their menus always intrigue me. Will have to go back to try them some day. The staff are probably the only drawback. I’ve found one or two to be a little grumpy/short on occasion. Usually a very pleasant experience though.

What a brunch! Having heard a lot of fantastic things about the Juno brunch, I was expecting to be let down, but it does indeed live up to its rep. It was easily one of the nicest Sunday morning/afternoons I have spent in Dublin. There’s lots of choice and lovely service. An absolute gem.

So last night I returned to Junos for dinner. It’s been a while. In fact, I think it’s over a year now that we had the Unilocal Elite event. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve been to Junos many times since-for brunch. And when Menupages was offering a great deal for 2, I couldn’t resist. Laura greeted me and my friend and gave us free reign of where we sat. And then we had a look at the menu. Our voucher gave us each a steak with potatoes and a glass of wine, but we were so hungry, we decided to get a starter-the fish cakes. I loved them so much when we first went there. And I was not disappointed this time. Loads of fish, without being too fishy. Then the steaks-lovely rib-eye steaks cooked to order and topped with a small mountain of thin onion rings and a side of lovely roasted baby potatoes, pea purée and roasted cherry tomatoes. Let me just say that the food I remember from the first time was not as good as I had this time. So delicious. I really wanted to get a dessert for my friend, who had just celebrated her birthday, but she was so stuffed. We both were. But I caved after Laura suggested the chocolate mousse with salt caramel and raspberries. Oh my god. Yummmmmmmm. But rich. There wasn’t a chance I could have eaten a whole portion of that. Again, I can’t recommend Junos more. Fantastic service. Always with a smile. Top quality food. And now there’s a new chef. Really impressive. He’s managed to maintain that quality. Thank you again for a great meal!

Worst service I’ve seen in Dublin thus far. Food was decent but servers were rude and not at all accommodating. The two women working turned down 3 groups of people coming in for ridiculous reasons such as where they could or could not sit. Refused to serve 2 women tea because«they will only take lunch customers from 12−2» and one guy came alone for lunch and they wouldn’t let him sit at a two person table. They were completely unapologetic while doing so and I could hear them gossiping about it as people came and left. Also gave me a problem for not finishing my meal which was uncomfortable. If you’re looking for a quick bite go for it but I suggest take out.

I’ll keep this short and sweet! If your hungry and looking for a fairly average brunch I would def recommend here! Your not gonna leave saying that was the best thing I have ever eaten but it does the job! The portions are HUGE and the staff are extremely friendly and go out of there way to help you. No waiting around!

Just landed in Dublin, checked into the hotel and it was time to get some food, I was headed to a Juno’s Café, it was suggested to me by many Dublin Unilocalers to try and I was pretty excited to check them out. Walked into Juno’s Café and thought right away I was directed somewhere pretty cool, it’s a cute little café with seating in the front by the window and more in the back. After looking the menu over I went with a Irish Beef Rump, came with Dubliner cheddar, caramelized onions & horseradish mayo on a Waterford Blaa, oh soo yummy and bursting with flavors, the bread was amazing, it came with a side, but I chose actually 2 sides, the 1st was potato salad but not like your grandmas potato salad(don’t tell nanna but I don’t care for it haha) but this potato salad was chunking potatoes covered in a grainy mustard sauce, amazballs! Loved it! So good! Also ordered chunky chips, omg all fries should be chunky chips, in fact that’s how I will make them at home. Also ordered a latte and that was perfectly done as well, just what was needed for the day. Thankful for the suggestion to try this place and happy to have made it my 1st official meal in Dublin, If you’re in town, stop by and give it a try

I love coming here for some brunch its just a small traditional café with lovely food. There pancakes are amazing everyone needs to try them. even there sandwiches are great and i love the company that does be in there always friendly and nice people to talk to. Plus its just beside the phoenix park which is great due to it being a great place to just go for a walk and relax after a bit of brunch.

Lovely place tucked away near Phoenix Park. Brunch options are simple but done really well… service was friendly too. We had fish and chips and pancakes — the latter was done American style(less the amount of maple syrup needed to «float» the pancakes!) Go early on the weekends though — we were there at 3 pm and they have run out of soy milk, fish cakes and tomatoes!

My husband and I dropped by here on our last day in Dublin. We both had the Eggs Benedict. Hands down the best hollandaise sauce I’ve ever had in my life! It was a generous portion and we both finished every bite.

While in Dublin for a week, staying at the Ashling Hotel, my family and I stumbled upon an amazing breakfast place. We went every morning(though we were careful to not repeat lunch/dinner spots) and had everything on the menu. The staff were extremely sweet and generous, the food was absolutely wonderful. A balance of healthy and enjoyable, and though every customer experience is different, when I think about going back to Dublin my family and I think about breakfast at Juno’s.

I have walked past this place a number of times while looking for a quick sandwich at lunchtime. It always just looked like a little lunch café with a large queue. Turns out they are a fully licensed restaurant at night too. Had a wonderful feed here as part of a Unilocal Elite event. We got three courses containing, each containing samples. 4 starters, 3 mains and 3 deserts. I have to say, as good as the starters and mains were, I would go there simply for the deserts. They were astounding and not like the pre-packaged frozen crap you get in many restaurants. We were also spoiled with samples of all the wines available. Thankfully, two of my favourites turned out to be the 2 cheapest bottles on the menu. The house wines if you will. Vermentino if you want white and Corvina for a red. They were mostly excellent wines but I would not bother with the Pinot Grigio myself. Still, I’m far more likely to be drinking beer while there and they have pretty much the full range of core 8 degrees beers available. I believe they used to stock Porterhouse bottles but that’s no more. A nice and intimate place with some nice wines. It might be slightly on the expensive side but only slightly. € 21.50 for the angus steak is good value for a restaurant and it’s excellent quality beef.

Juno’s evening menu is delightful! I was incredibly surprised to find the beetroot and mozzarella starter so tasty, as usually I dislike beetroot. As for the steak, it was cooked to perfection! I would highly, highly recommend the steak. And for dessert, the rhubarb crème brûlée was wonderful. I’m a huge crème brûlée fan anyway, but the slightly sour rhubarb was excellent in contrast with the sweet crème brûlée. Lovely idea! The staff were wonderfully attentive and catered to our every need. I also spotted that they have a looking brunch menu, so I look forward to checking that out in the near future! :)
Great coffee, great breakfast menu, nice interior… enough said, methinks!

Two stars would be harsh, three stars is definitely generous but more appropriate for a small business in a recession. The bottom line is that Juno’s is operating off the same cliché menu that has been floating around Dublin restaurants of its caliber for years now. Venison sausages with designer mash? Check. Fancy fish n chips? Check. Risotto for the vegetarians? Check. Mozzarella salad with the veg /fruit that’s in fashion at the moment? Check. Of course this would probably be fine, albeit a tad leadránach, if it was really good. I’d like to be able to say that it was in fact really good, however sadly, a lot of the food we ordered was bland or tired tasting. Also, what is this obsession with painting everything bright red? I’ve noticed this in quite a few Dublin places now and it’s getting weird. The service was good, so was the wine selection and nothing was decidedly bad about the experience. Nice location on Park Gate street.

Enjoyed a lovely lunch in here today while strolling back from the Phoenix Park. I had the fish cake(really tasty and flaky, but not dry) with some nicely dressed rocket leaves and a «piquant» mayonnaise. For afters we had a small bowl/glass of strawberries and cream. Added to our pot of tea, it set us back a tenner each, pretty reasonable, I thought. The interior was lovely and clean, our waiter was friendly and helpful without being too in-your-face. It was one of those rare times when I literally could’ve picked anything from the menu and would’ve been happy with it, I’ll deffo go back again to sample more.

There’s a new look to Juno’s and the jury is still out; the window dressing is changing and I fear that moody NYC Gothic signage is headed for the bin. Inside they’ve done away with the up-front sandwich counter — a mixed blessing that leaves more room for sitting and sipping lovely Americanos, but steals the lovely cubby-hole by the front window, making it all so much more grown up. Oh well, at least the menu’s still a reliable mix of nouvelle Irish favourites and the service is as good as ever. Still, like Kim K. or Pammy A., was all that plastic surgery really necessary?

Had coffee in here, set me back € 2.15 for a small, very steep but there lunch menu is more reasonably priced. You can get Shepard’s pie for € 5 and they seem to thrive on their salad sales, a salad bowl and it was a large bowl with brown bread cost € 7. They have some exotic salad combinations. Cute inside with an open kitchen, it was nice and relaxed the morning I was there until two Italian tourist with absolutely no English came in, I lie they had one English word and that word was knife. They managed to order two coffees and a scone to go whilst varying the pronunciation and using emotive hand gestures whilst exclaiming the word knife. It was really fascinating, but why knife? I think someone must really dislike them back in Italy by sending them on a plane to Dublin and telling them that they will be fine as long as they say, knife. Be careful of the taps, very hard to operate. You have to push in at the side. I said that to the staff on the way out and they laughed, ‘Yeah it’s ridiculous. Fancy design has taken over practicality. We said it to the boss. It’s like the taps in Pygmalion.‘ I laughed because yours truly reviewed Pygmalion and had the exact same compliant. Stop trying so hard tap designers!
