It’s in a great location, perfect for fueling up after shopping around Henry Street. We decided to try this place out for lunch because I was REALLY craving a smoothie. On that front, my smoothie was great — it was exactly what I felt like and hit the spot perfectly. The cons for me, however, were the service and the crepes. Our server wasn’t rude… just not exactly friendly and the food took ages. I ordered the Lemon Jelly Special crêpe, with chicken, cheese and salsa. It was one of the thickest«crepes» I’ve ever had, and tasted more like a heavy tortilla wrap. It was stodgy and doughy — exactly what you don’t want in a crêpe. I really like the location and the layout of the space, and I think it has potential as a café, but I probably won’t order food there next time.

Went for the omelette with black olives and feta cheese. Pretty nice but small portion and slightly high price for what I got. Nice, relaxed interior and fast service.

Their lunchtime deal was just the medicine I needed… € 9.90 for a chiabata, soup and coffee at lunchtime… There is very little I could fault with the food at all, the one unusual thing was that the coffee was served before the soup and chiabata, which I would have preferred after I’d finished my soup, but this is more than likely personal preference. All in all a good deal…

I like this place a lot. I never ate there, just enjoyed a few cups of coffee which tastes amazingly!!). They went through major revamp last year. I like it, though I did prefer the old design better. It felt more ‘intimate’ in that favourite corner of mine :)

Lemon Jelly is like a warm jumper that you keep up for the winter. Then when October comes around you dig it out and it is as cosy, comfortable and warm as you remember it. Now, I’m not saying you should only go here in the winter, only that Lemon Jelly is always a pretty safe bet when you want some good grub for a decent price. The salads here are wonderful, particularly the dressings. The pancakes are great, so much choice(savoury and sweet) and some really nice flavour combos. The layout can be a bit cramped at times but table reservations are available and the less busy times are more manageable.

Too saucy. No flavour. Salt and pepper needed for everything. Not homey breakfast place. Sterile environment. Friendly staff. Terrible coffee.

This place is amazing! I went on a weekday, after work, and it was bustling but there’s plenty of seats so there was no trouble getting one. The staff are incredibly, genuinely polite and the I really couldn’t fault the food. The menu has a good selection of crepes, omelettes, bagels, ciabatta’s and salads so choosing what to eat was difficult! I eventually went for the Lemon Jelly special which is a crêpe with chicken, cheddar, mozarella and salsa. The portion size was perfect — just enough filling for the crêpe without it being too stingy or overstuffed and difficult to eat. I had a chai latte to drink — it was good if a tad bit sweet but the serving size was good(I went for a double) and the spice was just right as well. For just over a tenner, this ended up being a very reasonable and incredibly satisfying meal and I will definitely be coming here again!

My Mam and I went here on Saturday and at the time I was absolutely intrigued to see what the inside of this café looked like as I always saw people enjoying coffee and laughing whilst sitting outside. As soon as we walked through the door all you could smell was fresh foods, the delicious crepes being made and of course the coffee being brewed. My Mam is on a health buzz, so we both opted for the salads, I got the Lemon Jelly House, I asked for extra spinach. I got an iced caramel Latte to start and my Mam got a green tea. When we received our drinks it was evident that the staff take pride in their jobs, the green tea came in a classic tea pot and the smell of the tea was divine. My iced caramel latte came in a perfect sized glass. When our salads arrived I couldn’t believe how generous they were with the portions! They were excellently presented. Mine was so colourful and really did live up to the expectations. Both salads came with a beautiful home made toasted bread with some garlic, basically garlic bread but not the greasy kind! I also got a juice to go with my main– a Cold And Flu Beater, 3,95 for a juice is pretty epic as most places in Dublin charge close to 5 €! For desert we were trying to be good and not get a cake but saying that I wish we did as it totally would’ve been worth it, they had a fine selection of home made pastries too! I got a Vanilla Milkshake to end but instead of being made with dairy milk the staff told me they could make it with coconut, almond, soya milk I went for the coconut for a sweet taste! It was AMAZING, you wouldn’t notice the difference, I like the way the staff are catering for everyone’s needs and wants. Really awesome! Anyway, this place is incredible! It’s so good, that I went back again today for lunch as I was in town. Really good prices, good coffee and great food what more could you want?

The food is ok. No big deal. And the service… Go there only of you are not in a rush otherwise you are gonna get late. However is good if the cagliosto and the foam are full.

These guys are all about their crepes, pastries, and omelettes – at least for me. I usually visit this café for a late weekend breakfast and they never disappoint. The waiters take real good care of you and are super friendly. I usually dine by myself on weekends and this is one of those restaurants where I feel totally comfortable/at ease doing that. If you’d like something to go with your breakfast they’ve got a great selection of smoothies, juices, coffee, and tea. They also have great cakes behind the counter that I’m yet to try, but judging by how they look, I am sure they are delicious!

Lovely food and lovely staff. I had a savory crêpe called Eastern Essex: tandoori chicken with Greek yogurt, shredded lettuce & tomato. My friend had beef/oxtail soup. Our waiter was particularly helpful. He spotted us looking at, and discussing, the deserts on display, one of which was a Marlenka cake. He knew all the history, and said it was a honey cake and originates from Czech Republic. We had a nice time there, and I will certainly return.

I love the crepes and omelettes they do here! I live really near and come for a crêpe and coffee lunch quite often and it never disappoints. You can also select your fillings which I like, and they serve a good variety of delicious juices and smoothies. The location is great and they have some really nice outdoor seating thats always packed on a sunny day. The staff are really friendly, the price is reasonable and the quality is great. I’d say go here for a sweet or savoury crêpe, they are the best!

My roomie and I went here and had crepes(yes gluten free crepes) I had the sir Henry: cheddar, chicken and spinach it came with a tiny side of salad which consisted of a slice of tomato, a slice of red onion and some rocket leaves, now I am a sucker for red onion and asked for a few more slices which were free of charge, the crêpe was a bit crispy but I really liked it and the service was AMAZING! We got 2 gluten free crepes and a bottle of wine for € 32 and you can’t argue with a price like that!

I didn’t realise this place had such great desserts. Lemon Jelly already hits all the right café notes: friendly service, good coffee, great location and atmosphere. But the desserts put it ahead of the dozens of other coffee options surrounding it. I’d recommend there banoffee pie, a big pile of cream and butter fudge that is a delicious shortcut to a diabetic coma.

Great crepes — very tasty and filling, perfect for a post-gym lunch. Haven’t tried their sweet crepes but the kids at the table beside us certainly enjoyed theirs! Their Suki tea was gorgeous as well, I had the Jasmine Phoenix brew while my mate Brian enjoyed his Rooibos version. The tea is also available to buy in retail packs. It does help a couple of the waiters are very easy on the eye! ;-)
