Lough Key

This park is definitely worth a visit! Great for families with children of all ages (there are baby change facilities and the forest paths are buggy accessible), as well as couples looking for an enjoyable day/​s out.
There are a wide variety of activities including; camping, a boat tour of the lake (including history guide), tree top walk (with interactive guide), nature play area, forest/​bog walks and much more!
On-​site café also caters for its guests, but if the weathers cheerful why not bring a picnic to have whilst looking out onto the beautiful lake and its many islands.
There is also lots of parking — but remember to get your ticket from the main office before you leave! (parking is currently free if you spend a certain amount in the park — otherwise 4 Euros).
