Sometimes, you just need late-night carbs. And chips from a Chinese will not cut it (they always taste kind of strange).
If I am in my native north-east Dublin locale, Macari’s would always be first choice, but at a push, Lynch’s in Killester will fill in quite nicely.
They fulfill that most most important criterion that I look for in a chipper: their batter sausages split down the middle (a matter of the utmost gravity). That fundamentally important detail aside, it’s pretty much your standard chipper. There are rumours flying around that Lynch’s have spice burgers back in again, but I for one will believe that when I see it.
