I can’t say enough about this wonderful restaurant. I went to Dublin to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday and after a lot of research decided on Marco Pierre. I live in NYC so I know a good steak and have eaten and many wonderful restaurants but this was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. I got the filet which was cooked to perfection with a side of the truffle parmesan chips(fries for you Americans) which were outstanding. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. Service was fast and they were very accommodating. They made my boyfriend’s birthday very special! We will be back!

Have been dying to go here for a while. Was really lovely food and you get what you expect from a known steak house. The early bird is great value. At 28 for a 3 course, you can’t go wrong. Pâté was nice and the steak was cooked how I liked. I was a bit disappointed with the chocolate dessert, but that could be a taste thing. I. e wanting more peanut flavour. The waiter was amazing though. So friendly and put a candle in my cake for my birthday. Nice touch and sang happy birthday in a really low voice. Was perfect.

3.5 Stars — Here’s the breakdown: Ambiance — 4 Stars(love the black and white photographs and the little red lamps) Noise Level — 2 Stars(couldn’t hear the server as she broke down the specials) Service — 4 Stars(very attentive — went above and beyond when I asked to have my items packed to go) Food Quality — 3 Stars(overall pretty bland and lifeless though presented nicely) There was a nice wine selection and the service was pretty quick. But, not sure this spot is all one would expect from a celebrity chef.

I’m in love with this restaurant! Oh my god! BESTSTEAKIVEEVERHAD I went there one Saturday evening and it’s the best decision going there(always make a reservation). This was my second time here but I was delighted with the service the second time round rather than the first. The waiter was so pleasant and the meal was to die for. I could barley finish my main course. It’s a tad bit expensive but it’s worth it! They also have the early bird menu available but please if your a meat lover you have to go here! I can’t highly recommend it enough.

Was there on a Friday night! So busy that you barely can hear the person next to you. We ordered 3 starters, 1 fresh asparagus, 2– prawn cocktail and some kind of baked cheese that smelled strong but tasted good All starts were good. For the main courses we had a ribeye which was cooked well done but in my opinion it was a bit burned. My order was the roast lamb with gratin. I always have my meat cooked medium and it didn’t work very well with that order, each bite was chewy and the gratin needed more creaminess, last main order was the fillet and it was the only edible one among all of us. It was cooked perfectly medium-rare as my friend likes it. For desserts we had a sticky toffee pudding and a crème brûlée and we enjoyed each bite of it! So delicious A star for the presentation of food, one for the starters and one for the desserts. To be honest I had very high expectations and it didn’t meet what I was looking for in this place. Maybe I’ll give it a try again. And see if anything will change

WOWWWWZZZZERS great place to have steak or even fish(yellow fin tuna and monk fish) Great service, really attentive. Menu is big enough to not get confused. Wine menu has some great choices too, even around the 35 € mark. Food is amazing, I tried 2 different starters and two different mains, there is absolutely nothing I would have changed with these dishes. There were tasty and looked soooooo pretty :) The sides are all more focused on steak, not too many vegetable choices, more of the typical old style potato… but hey it works with the theme. Portions are massive, so really if you are going for starter and main, don’t plan with desert or make sure you haven’t eaten all day Summary: if you love meat you’ll love that place!!!

I loved this place. Each dish was cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. I had the fois gras which was just amazing. For main it was rib eye(medium –rare) with bernaise sauce. My mouth is watering now as I think back on how delicious this was. My fiancée had steak tartar, which isn’t my fave but tasty nonetheless and the tuna steak for mains. Once I had a taste I got serious food jealousy. It was amazing. When we go back I think this is what I’ll get. Definitely going back here

Oh my dear God this meal was perfection. I had been to the Marco Pierre White restaurant before for lunch but on this occasion we decided to go all out and get the a la carte. As you might be able to guess from the first sentence of this review it was a good decision! I began with the exquisite crab with herbs that melted in the mouth and left me dying for more. This was followed by a Beurre a la bordelaise, red wine and shallots rib eye steak. So tender and succulent and incredibly filling. We got a side of mushrooms and onion rings for the table and I could barely start eating my triple cooked chips as I was already stuffed senseless! Everyone in my party agreed this was probably the best steak we’ve ever had. The atmosphere and service was nothing short of fantastic. You feel like royalty entering the place and the bathroom with the little towels instead of a dryer is a great touch. Along with a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc between 2 it only cost a mere 65 euro each for the two courses, sides and wine! I would have tried the dessert had I been able but sadly couldn’t bring myself to eat another bite! Easily one of the most amazing meals of my life.

Die Steaks sind ausgezeichnet, der Service eher schlecht! Ich empfehle: RinderFilet mit Blue cheese und Prinzessinnen-Bohnen, sowie peanut Butter tarte als Dessert :)

One of my favourite restaurants in Dublin. The staff are good. It’s a great place to go, have a nice meal and chat with friends or with your partner. I have never been disappointed with the staff, the service or the food. The steaks are cooked to perfection, Along with the grilled salmon. If you have room for dessert the peanut butter tart is very rich. The rice pudding is delicious as well! I always say if your every going someone new I would alway recommend to stick to what you know and don’t order something you don’t usually as then you might be disappointed

Unfortunately I wasn’t overly impressed with the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse and Grill. I visited for lunch with friends and had a goats cheese, beetroot and walnut salad which I didn’t enjoy. It was basically a huge plate of raw goats cheese with very little else. It was disappointing. Although the ingredients seemed good quality the lack of taste let the dish down. I’m a fan of grilled goats cheese but not a massive plate of crumbled up, raw, very strong goats cheese. On a more positive note the wine and service were pleasant. I think this restaurant is over hyped as is often the case with ‘celebrity chef’ restaurants.

Despite the ‘table’ issue, I was invited to join a party here so I kept quiet about my previous issue. The food and service was ok, but when I approached the floor manager with a query/request he didn’t seem to understand the request and made me feel I was the one that had a problem with understanding English. As one of our notable publicans said, the floor staff are the face of the company and if they fail to comprehend what the customer is saying, then the customer can and will go elsewhere !

Had lunch here last Tuesday. Food was pretty average. The service was a bit haphazard to say the least. At € 120 for lunch for two including drinks, I for one was expecting a lot more. Not a fan of the tarragon on the fries either.

My third time here, and by far the best. Oh, the steak was like butter. The starter was asparagus with a light hollandaise sauce, followed by medium-rare steak which came with fries and a small but delicious salad. It was a perfect meal.

Marco Pierre White(MPW) Steakhouse is one of 2 – 3 favorite fine dining choices in Dublin. It was a return visit for us. Reservations suggested. We were seated promptly. MPW offers Irish beef(Ribeye a favorite, Sirloin, or Filet Mignon) as well as seafood choices such as Halibut. See pics My Ribeye was perfectly cooked, medium-rare, with choice of sauces including classic au poivre. Interesting appetizers including Smoked Salmon. Predictable side dishes, all à la carte. Sautéed Portobello mushrooms were a particular treat. Few Minor Gripes: * Salad choices are very limited * Seating in one of the few booths, while private for conversation, is uncomfortable. Owner should check this out. Choose a conventional chair. All-in price was 600 € for 7 people(86 € per person) including appetizer, entrée with side dish, and dessert along with wine, including value-added tax and mandatory service charge. Comparable to NY City prices for similar quality meal. Tips: * For best value, order off the 3-course Value Menu available every day except peak hours Friday and Saturday. * Request seating in the enclosed(heated) porch for better ambiance. * Avoid booths unless you need the privacy.

MPW serves one of the best steaks you could get in Dublin, The atmosphere inside the restaurant is great and vibrant, but on weekends it can get too crowded to the point where you can’t hear the person sitting next to you, so I think their outside seatings are much nicer(and heated as well). I have eaten here so many time and with different people and never heard anyone complaining, you do end up with a not so cheap bill but you will leave with a happy belly.

Atmosphere: We were sitting outside on the terrace, which was nicely enclosed by plants and glassed that we could barely notice the people walking on the pavement. They have comfortable wicker chairs. Service: The waiter was kind and efficient Food:. The beef filet literally melted in the mouth. I am a big fan of Crème Brulee and I could not resist to order one. I was not disappointed. The portion was very generous and rich General: This is a great place for steaks. The bill was just over 80 euros for 1 starter, 2 mains and 1 dessert

Oh I’ve been spoilt by the beau and brought here for dinner on a special evening! Lovely smart casual setting — you won’t feel out of place in a polo tee and clean jeans. We were offered a corner table which gave us an excellent view of the entire restaurant. We both ordered entrees — steak tartare and potted duck, both of which were delish. They are a good size too, so make sure you are hungry beforehand to tackle two courses! The steaks were cooked to perfection and we had 4 glasses of red wine — all 4 varieties we tried were excellent. One star down — the service is a bit hit and miss. Our waiter, an older guy, seemed a bit disgruntled having to serve us young chaps and disappeared for most of our meal — other waiters had to swoop in to rescue us. Our finished starter plates were left on our table for 15 minutes. When a waiter finally came to clear them, he was whistling and singing to a Madonna tune… like whaaa? I just expected better service when we are paying over € 50 per head! Overall a very good meal, just bad luck with our assigned waiter… Side note: We saw a woman order steak tartare and visibly paled when the raw beef and egg yolk dish was served to her. For the benefit of Unilocal users, that is what steak tartare is… not steak with a side of tartar sauce!

I’m a huge Gordon Ramsay fan, so when I spotted Marco Pierre Whites, I had to try it! This was a surprise find in the heart of Dublin, Ireland!(I wasn’t looking for it.) The ambiance is very nice and service was GREAT. I was very pleased with the service that my wife and I received. They were very prompt and brought us everything that we asked for in a timely fashion. That being said, what’s the MOSTIMPORTANT part of any restaurant? The FOOD! Let me tell you the menu is loaded with Irish dishes along with traditional dishes you would come to expect at a high end restaurant. I would suggest Marco Pierre White’s restaurant to any looking for a fine dining experience in Dublin. Definitely 5 Stars! They even offer free wi-fi which is very convenient for us travelers.
