When I moved to Dublin 1 it didn’t take me long to realize that if I wanted to order good pizza I might as well bend over and let all the great places on the south side slap me in the ass with a wooden pizza paddle because it was never gonna happen. Now, thanks to Millenia Takeaway shifting from burgers and hot dogs and focusing on pizza I can pull up my boot straps and order pizza proudly. I never had any of their previous takeaway food but when my wife and I ordered a pizza with lamb, sausage, and 3 kinds of peppers, we didn’t really know what to expect. We were ecstatic when we realized how fresh the toppings tasted, how much real cheese they put on that didn’t taste like it was made rotting armpit residue, and how the crust tasted like it was actually baked and not chemically constructed in a laboratory. Millenia’s new pizza menu is hands down one of the best places to order fresh pizza with real cheese and good toppings on the north side of Dublin.

Don’t let the outside look of Millennia turn you away. This sign is awful, I know, and they chose a very funny font to represent a fast-food joint, but it’s what inside that counts, right? For a cheap-ish fast-food joint it’s not bad at all. My burger meal was good and greasy, nothing more and nothing less. Millennia is fine for a quick take-away if you like your junk food to be simple and served fast. For mouthwatering burgers, go somewhere else(and pay a little more).
