The BEST pint of Guinness you’ll ever have! Great food, courtesy of Eileen, and awesome bar staff/owners. It’s a TRUE Irish pub and not to be missed. Skip Temple Bar go see John and Alison down the pub, they’ll treat ya like family!

Traditional Irish pub to be sure, but there are a few things definitely lacking. The Gents were basically disgusting. Now it’s not something I usually notice or think about, but I suppose when one is afraid of touching anything, and ends up opening the door with ones foot, and trying to turn on the taps with ones elbow, it leaves an impression(I hate when people keep saying ‘one’, so I’ll stop). I’ve been there twice, same both times. Would not eat food in a place that is that dirty either. The smoking area had an overflowing industrial sized bin in the center of it, which was not in the least bit nice.

Meh. Nice place at first sight, on my way home from work. Stopped there a couple of times. No Pale Ale, no IPA — I know that is not mandatory, but it is still nice to have at least one pale ale and not 6 different lagers. Place was cold, staff was friendly but slow. Cheap though, but… well… not my place.

Solides Dubliner Pub, gehe gerne mal wieder hin.

LOVE! We visited this pub our first night in town. Great food, drinks, service, and atmosphere. The owner and bartender gave us great advice on sightseeing as well. You want to go to a local pub, not tourist trap– this is the place!

I have to agree with Dani here! This pub serves some of the cheapest and best poured pint of Guinness by a landslide. At least in this neck of the woods! The pub is relaxing and welcoming. It’s a great place for a nice quiet pint or if you’re looking for a bit of craic. It’s definitely a place to get yourself in a good convo! If the guinnss has left you a bit peckish they also do some pretty decent pub grub. I don’t eat baby animals aka no lamb, but my friend assured me that the Irish Stew was absolutely delicious!

A little birdie had told me that I could get the best and cheapest pint of the black stuff in Molloys on Talbot Street, so I ventured down that way to find out if this was true. I found Molloys to be surprisingly warm and welcoming, because it is near Busaras I had assumed that most of its clientele would be tourists. Granted, there are a lot of tourists in Molloys but also a lot of locals making for a great mix. And well, what can I say: the pint was amazing! And just over 4 Euro so definitely one of the cheapest I’ve had so far. One star removed though because the staff were a bit stand-offish though.

Great pint of Guinness… probably the best in Dublin. Friendly irish atmosphere. My favorite. Stefano
