This is the best value BYOB restaurant around. Unlike most other BYOB restaurants, there is no corkage fee or minimum spend — all you have to do is purchase a main course(approx € 15). I’ve been here a few times now and it doesn’t disappoint. Tasty food, large portions and at great prices. The staff are also very welcoming!

My favourite restaurant in Dublin! I can’t even say how much I love their food. The service is always great. I hadn’t ever had great Indian food until this little gem. You can BYOB with no corkage fee… just keeps getting better!

Royal tandoori is the third of Terenure’s Indian restaurants and has probably been around the longest. Its a different animal to Vermillion or Meghna though. It probably won’t lighten your wallet quite as much either. Royal scores well on a number of points. Its BYO, which is certainly rare in Dublin these days, its a great idea and will knock off at least 10 euro off the price of your meal as they don’t charge corkage. So a stop off in corks or the Terenue inn across the road is a must. The place itself is a bit outdated but the food is good and reasonably priced. Theres a upstairs room as well if your going in a group. A great cheap and cheerful night out.
