By far one of the most enjoyable Indian meals I’ve had in quite some time. The Vindaloo they serve here is gorgeous. Highly recommended

This wasn’t bad at all ! We were coming back from the cinema and everything on our road was closed(it was already like 11:30 pm and a week day), so we were already resign to eat a few pasta once back home. But as we passed in front of the spice guru, we were amazed to see that it was still opened contrary to all the other restaurants or take away ! So we looked at the menu and finally decided to take a lamb byriani, only one for two would probably enough, and a cheese naan for my boyfriend who’s in love with cheese naan everywhere he goes… We got in on tiptoe expecting the guy to tell us that he won’t serve us anymore that late, but he welcomed us nicely, we ordered and he didn’t said anything on the fact that we took only one dish for two, and wanted to pay by card for only 11 €. He didn’t even say anything when I asked a special sauce without almonds and raisin… We were served pretty quickly, and got home with our biryani. After tasting it was pretty good, a bit spicy but good, they were a huge amount of meat that I wasn’t expecting so it was finally way enough for us two. The cheese naan was pretty good too, even if would have liked a little bit more cheese or creamy cheese in it. We would definitely go back there, the food was good(can’t wait to taste some other dishes !), the price is fair, especially given the quantity of meat !

Didn’t feel like cooking/going out one night and thought of ordering in. Spice Guru seemed to be popular among friends and other order in websites so thought why not try them? After all it was rated well by fellow reviewers too! The food turned out to be great! On time delivery with smile despite the confusing address we have. Good portion size. The set menu is a great deal. I so wanted to eat good biryani for a long time and glad I ordered it from here. Hubby’s chicken tikka biryani was awesome; a bit better than my vegetarian one so I stole his :) All food was flavourful and made with less oil. Would love to try more! Only one downside — The vegetable tikka masala I ordered only had broccoli in it with a few green peas– no other veggies. Next time I will ask them to put more vegetables.

This is the best takeaway Indian I have ever eaten. it really doesn’t get any better than this. I order from here again and again and again.

I believe I should state this disclaimer first: Although I am Pakistani, I am by no means a fan of Pakistani/Indian food. Just wasn’t my thing, especially growing up and eating it most of the time. HOWEVER, boy do I LOVE me some Spice Guru! I tried them randomly one night, just because I wanted to see how good they were since I had seen pretty decent reviews on other sites. Secondly, they have a great set meal price of 11.49, for a starter, main, naan or rice, and a can of soda. I usually order the seekk kebab hydrabadi, chicken or lamb tikka masala, a naan, and whatever drink is floating my boat that day. Food is good, and full of flavor, and with every set meal order, they give you free poppadom and chutney. Spice Guru not only started making me love Indian food again, but got me ordering from them basically one a week! I’m on a student’s budget in Dublin, and if I go broke here, it won’t be because of alcohol… it’ll be because Spice Guru!
