Subway

Well, it is what it is. A Subway. But it’s the only one in Sandyford and it is nice lunch option to have Monday to Friday.
The store itself is usually busy enough around lunch time but you’re never left waiting around. TBH. It’s one of the quickest places to grab a sandwich from in Sandyford.
The meal deal is good value for money. 12″ and a drink for about € 6.

This is a bit of a hidden secret in the industrial estate, one day one of my colleagues turned up with a foot long subway sandwich, we were all sitting around with our normal homemade sandwiches that were limp and boring and you know that subway smell well it wafted into our noses and turned us off our own sandwiches straight away. The next day we were all down in the recently discovered subway eyeing up all the toppings and different types of breads we could get, the decisions! Finally we were all satisfied with our sandwiches and devoured them back in the canteen, much tastier than our regular sandwiches from home!
What’s great about this subway is the fact that it is above a Londis shop so you can get extra things to go with your sandwich! All the usual things that a newsagents has! I often wonder how badly affected their sandwich counter has been, why would you want a boring deli roll when you have the choice of subway?!
