Authentic gelato imported all the way from Italy! My group stopped in on a fridged Friday night, we were greeted by warm smiles behind the counter. Our gazes quickly shifted to the decadent tubs of goodness on display. After giving several flavors a thorough taste test, each of us went for the tiramisu. The gelato is rich and creamy with bold flavors swirled in. Whats more, each cup is topped with a delicate wafer for good measure. The weather was unforgiving this night so I opted for a hot chocolate to go, it was a nice smooth cup of deliciousness full of marshmallows and almond milk(my tummy appreciated the option). Pricing is reasonable, especially because of the products quality! Ive had gelato in Italy and it was nowhere near this extraordinary. Seating is lacking, but we were happy to stand so long as you leave us to our snack. The staff is great and clearly enjoy taking care of the customers. If you’re after something sweet, I can guarantee this spot delivers!

I gave them 4 stars just because their coffee! I had latte, but it was awful. It’s like I was drinking milk with a dash of coffee! As an Italian shop. I had high expectations for their coffee. Ice Cream selection I usually get the espresso flavor! It’s the best. I’ve tried it also with coconut! Oh lord. You won’t regret it. Maybe I’ll give their crepes A try next time!

There are two reasons to visit this place: 1) Yes, the gelato. Do they serve other desserts? Absolutely. Should you waste your time with them? Jesus, no! Life is short; HAVETHEGELATO! 2) Their staff. There’s one gelato dude who discusses being in the«gelato zone,» and how everything is good In The Zone. Yes, my friend, it totally is. He’s hilarious, and I love him, and we may or may not have little gelato babies together… you’ll just have to come back and check for an update on that. On to serious business: their gelato is so good, I’ve met Italians who refuse to go anywhere else. Their dark chocolate gelato is amazing, but to be fair, I have never had anything less than superior there. Everything tastes fresh and like it’s made from real ingredients, not some hard to pronounce chemicals. If you buy your gelato in a cup, you get a cute little sugar cookie; this is a trap. They’re buying off your affections like some emotionally unavailable parents. Go for the cone, every time. It’s not that they’re so amazing, but really, that’s how gelato should be eaten, with a bonus of crunchy deliciousness. I refuse to go anywhere else for a cold, sweet treat. It’s, like, 10 degrees out right now, and I’m totally thinking about hitting it on my way home from work.

Lovely little gelato spot on O’Connell street. Tired of the typical gelato flavors? This spot has flavors I’ve never seen, and I’ve had my fair share of gelato in many countries, including Italy. How about Pistachio Cherry or Almond Honey? I had a double scoop of Gingerbread and Almond Honey. Delicious! They also have crepes, waffles(full sized and on a stick), and coffees. Must stop if you’re interested in unique gelato flavors!

After a tiring afternoon on Henry St. after trying and failing to find the perfect pair of jeans, I needed a seriously sweet pick me up. I was tempted to make the trek back to Murphy’s on Wicklow St, until I found this place via the Unilocal app. Slightly ashamed of myself for not knowing about it before, as I consider myself a bit of an authority on where the good ice-cream is to be found, I decided to try it out! I had my 18 year old brother in tow, and to say he has a sweet tooth would be an understatement, he has a mouthful! The foodie offerings on O’Connell St aren’t anything to speak of, quite honestly, so I was seriously impressed by the spread of artisan ice-cream that greeted me as I walked in the door(about 25 flavours!). Not only that, but they offer crepes and waffles too! The staff were super friendly and helpful, and eventually we decided on two scoops of ice cream each, and for the generous servings we received, € 8 wasn’t half bad considering its location! I had the florentine cream with dark chocolate, and the brother had mango with florentine cream. We both supremely enjoyed the rich creamy gelato, and we took our time over them, as he waited on his bus. Far, far superior to Gino’s icecream on Henry & Grafton st. There is a limited amount of seating inside the shop and outside. They offer a discount on hot drinks for students too. Next time I’m on the Northside I’ll definitely be calling in for a scoop!

OHMYNOM — I love coming here. The staff are so nice(and patient while I take way too much time to decide) and the ice cream is delicious.

With all the euro we’d been spending, was nice to find a gelato spot that wasn’t ridiculously expensive! They had a nice selection of flavors. We got F-something crème and boignato(something like that… don’t remember the names…) and they were quite good! The first flavor wasn’t too sweet, husband liked that, and I liked the second flavor with was kind of a cream gelato with some chocolate and cream puff pastry mixed in. Again, not too sweet so very enjoyable. 1 scoop is 2.50 € and 2 is 4.00 €. So quite good!

A lot busier today now that the sun is out. Staff were v pleasant. The smell as someone else was getting a stick waffle was incredible. Got the Tiramisu this time… So yum! I think I now have a mission to try as many of their great flavours this Summer :-)

My second visit and won’t be my last as I need to sample every creamy icy morsel. I am surprised this place isn’t busier as it’s very well located and they flavours well chosen. Not that expensive either.

SUCHAMAZINGGELATOHERE. I loved the Rhum Crunch, while the rest in the group enjoyed coconut, ginger, and sweet cream and chocolate flavors. Many to choose from, as well as crepes. Service was great and lighthearted, joking with us although they were closing soon. I definitely want to go back!

Best gelato and crêpe in Dublin. I tried different flavors and my favorites are Dark chocolate, tiramisu and pistachio. The gelato Tastes so good like the gelato in Rome. Totally worth trying.

I’ve had«the best gelato in the world» in Philly, according to NatGeo. This was just as good, if not better. Absolutely delicious, fantastic texture, incredible flavor. My only regret is that I didn’t go numerous times. Much more affordable than what I’m used to as well. Capogiro has some competition.

This place takes me back to the cobble streets of Toscana Italy on the warmest summers day, caught sitting in the shade of its many towering architecture with a gelato in hand — the sheer delight. From the many creative flavours available, the ‘dark chocolate’ gelato is my favorite. The texture light and its flavour layered with unassuming bold chocolatey goodness. Suso is more’ish. I’ve already been here twice in three days. ;)

Ah Suso, the icy trap laid out for me just across the 46A bus stop! Very small space, just the counter and a couple of tables outside, but it works, especially because most people are just passing by and want something to take with them. It’s very nice to have a place like Suso on O’Connell St., the street needs more calm and small shops and less big ugly fast food joints to captivate Dubliners and tourists alike. Their ice creams are creamy and soft and come in a huge variety of flavours. They usually add a nice wafer or some cherries on top of your ice cream, a nice and distinguishing touch. The prices are inviting enough, for 2 euro you have a small but completely filled cup. I don’t think they’re as good as the unique Murphy’s but they’re a bit better than Gino’s — and the whole experience is less weary than Gino’s too, which is always packed and blaring its cheesy Italian songs on loop. They also have coffee and some muffins, if you’re feeling like the ice cream alone isn’t enough :) A good place to stop if you’re around the O’Connell area!

YUMMY! My roommate and I were on our way home and passed by this place. I had mango and chocolate and it was like a piece if heaven in my mouth. Bet spot for ice cream in Dublin and very affordable as well. The service was great and fast!
