I just took the Long-Form Improv night class here and I LOVEDIT. I am actually so sad it is over. This class is a great class for literally everyone, the age range went from 23 – 75 with people of all nationalities and everyone got along really well. The teacher was awesome and very good at getting everyone involved and really helping us to improve our improvisation skills. The facilities were nice and the classes were never cancelled. We had a showcase at the end at the Workman’s club, which was really well organized and a good end to the course. I have no real acting background and it was a mixed bag in the class. I felt really comfortable putting myself out there and never felt stupid or silly even when I made mistakes. I know other people who took some other classes this semester at the Gaiety School of Acting and they were really happy as well. I would definitely suggest taking a class here… overall a great experience.

Romy, age 9: My lovely drama teacher Claire is very kind and I have made lots of friends ever since I joined. They are so nice and lots of new people join each year. We put on little shows at the end of each term, for instance, last year we did Alice in Wonderland and this year we did Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. With scripts. It was a big move on for me. We have so much fun and play lots of games at the start of our class. Claire always has the best games and we always love playing them. Sometimes they have bun sales too — yum! Drama is one of my favourite places and Claire makes us all feel special — like when I played a man, when she laughed at my voice, that made me feel good. Over and out. Ava, age 7: I love it in drama. It is very fun. I love being in shows since I liked it when I was the granny in The Mysterious Haunted House, a play we made up ourselves. It’s really fun when we do drama since. .. well, it just is. Claire is a nice teacher to have and it is the best place ever. Apart from home. Thank you.

These guys are great! They offer courses to all ages for those who have an interest in acting and/or just want to have a bit of fun. And oh what fun it is. I attended the school for about 2 years, they have classes in the city centre and also in the suburbs in rented places. They are great fun for bringing out your confidence and you get to meet loads of new people and characters. May be a little pricey but if you are looking for something new i can recommend this highly enough!
