Do you like waiting in line under the guise of getting a «free» pint of Guinness(even though you paid 20 euro to walk through a half assed beer museum)? Then step right up, but wait, you’ll have to pour your own so you could get a proper pint or a Guinness cappucino which is 1⁄3 Guinness, 1⁄3 foam, and 1⁄3 air.

As touristy as it sounds, but I couldn’t think of a better way to get to that first helping of ruby red goodness.

Aside from the Guinness storehouse being super interesting, the Guinness academy is super fun! If you’re over 18, you get a free pint and you should definitely get it by pouring your own pint of Guinness at the academy. It’s harder than you think… Another reason to get your pint here, besides learning how to properly pour guinness(yes, there is a very specific way for best results), is that if you choose to get it at the gravity bar, your other option, it’s very crowded up there!!! The view IS great, so if you like crowded and loud areas and don’t care to learn how to pour guinness, go ahead and get it there. If you DO want to be educated and prefer to enjoy your pint in a more low key, calm area, go to the academy!!! Don’t worry, if you fail at pouring your pint like I did, still tastes great and no one really cares!
