I love this place! It’s around the corner from my house so I’m in most weekends for a coffee and usually a pastry!
The coffee is really good, staff are very friendly and the cakes, pastries, gingerbread men, etc are all delicious. My favourite has to be the custard croissant, it’s unreal!
If you’re in Rathmines I’d definitely recommend popping in.

I just moved back Rathmines and I walked by this cute little bakery. I was drawn to the shops great window selection, everything looked yummy. I usually don’t go near bakeries because it’s gluten filled and off limits for my sensitive tummy. I went in anyway and asked if there were any gluten free options and lucky for me there was. I bought a brownie and a lemon tart and both were delicious. My favorite was without a doubt the lemon tart it was delicious and moist with a crunchy meringue topped I will be back for more of those very soon. Not giving 5 starts because the service was bare minimum.

I don’t know if it is always cash only but it was the day I was in — worth being aware of as otherwise you won’t be able to walk out with some of the best pastries I have tasted in a long time.
The owner tells me they have a new french pastry chef (I didn’t catch the name, sounded a bit like if you say orange in a really heavy fake french accent), and the stuff he is producing is brilliant.
We bought a pan au raisin, chocolate brownie and peanut caramel square. They were all exceptional.

Just off the center of Rathmines, Orange Tree Bakery is a petite shop offering a carefully edited range of breads, treats, sandwiches, and coffees. The shop has an almost delicate feel to it, with each item lovingly displayed. Staff is friendly.
The Orange Tree has only been open for a few months, but hopefully, competitively-​priced selections (a fresh loaf of bread with or without seeds is only € 1.50, for example) will develop a loyal following of regulars.

Very cute Bakery, smells really good and provides almost all kind of breads. They have good desserts and coffee.
