I went into Thomas Gear to get my boyfriend’s watch fixed and they didn’t fix it. Granted I only told them that the pin in the strap needed replacing when in fact it needed a new battery as well. But you would think that a the repairman would realize this and replace it without prompting. No, I figured wrong. I only discovered my error(and theirs) when I returned it to my boyfriend. I need to comment on their jewellery as well, but before I launch into my criticism, I should admit that I’m prejudiced against gold. The shop sells a lot of gold: gold chains, earrings and wedding rings. In my opinion, most of their stuff is quite tacky and a little too mobster-like.
