Quite possibly my favourite local restaurant! A small family restaurant with great food and welcoming and efficient staff. Bits & Pizzas have a small enough, simple menu but every dish they put out is fresh, made completely from scratch and incredibly tasty. I’ve been going since I was a child and the excellent food and friendly and accommodating service have always been consistent. The pizzas are incredible with a perfectly baked dough, a perfect crust, a delicious sauce and ample toppings. The chicken wings were one of my favourite dishes of all time before I gave up meat, and I always get jealous when I smell them when my brother or sister orders them! They are like no other wings. And last but certainly not least their desserts! Handmade with the flavours changing daily, the ice cream alone is worth the trip. The chocolate sundae with their homemade chocolate sauce is not to be missed.

To say my parents love bitz and pizzas is an understatement. They religiously get it every weekend on a sat night take away night. We never ever sit in the restaurant just usually get ther take away delivered. The Caesar salad is epic. Simple and so tasty. Ther wings, although described as spicy ther not really. The sauce is un describable. it’s dark brown, sticky and sweet yumness. I can’t compare them to anywhere else cause there just bitz and pizza wings to me. Pizzas are good too, not the best around but as a take away service I highly recommend to anyone around the dun laoighre/dalkey area :)

I tried Bits and Pizzas for the first time a couple of months ago. my boyfriend used to go when he was a kid and wanted to take me there. I really enjoyed the pizza. It wasn’t like the kind of pizza you’d typically find in Dublin, it was a bit more American style… and by that I mean cheeeesy. I love cheesy pizza. I got the banana split for dessert and it was huge. We were the only people in the place on a Wednesday night, and service was friendly without being too overbearing.

I’ve been a customer of Bits & Pizzas for well over 10 years. It has always been a reliable place to go for a pizza, not out of this world but always better that average and always affordable. It’s worthy of a 4 star rating but one staff member drags the whole place down. Truth be told, if there was a separate scoring system for service I’d have given her a 1. We were there last year. As a party of 11 you’d think the potential tip alone would be worth going the extra mile for but that wasn’t the case. This staff member got my order wrong then proceeded to tell me it was my fault. She then went back over to where food is served from and gave out to other staff members about me in clear view of the whole table. Although I’ve been back once since then(praying I wouldn’t be served by this staff member) we got the same cold service I’d expect from someone that couldn’t care less about what the customers experience is like. I won’t go into detail about this particular staff member but you’ll know her when you see her. She’ll be the one not smiling with a rotten attitude. I’m not going to slate the place because of one appalling staff member, but I won’t be back until she’s gone either.

A really great spot. I have been going here for over 15 years now and their pizza is first class, strongly recommend it.

I am not a great fan of pizzas but I am a fan of being able to sit outside and still get served by nice staff. Great coffee and they kindly gave me cream — much better than your standard type coffee house. Always seems busy when I walk by so that has to be a good sign. Next time I might even try a pizza!

Went in here with a few friends from work one night. Was not hugely impressed. The Restaurant is nice and informal, the kind of place you can come and have a good time even if you have been out all day shopping or something, maybe been rained on and your lookin a little shabby? No worries you should feel fine here, its definitely not too formal here, and i think that was its downfall for me. First of all i will admit that this is primarily a pizza place and I am one of the few weirdos who does not indulge in pizza. strange i know. But i did have the unique opportunity to experience the non pizza side of the place(i guess that’s the«Bits» part)… not very good at all. The Chicken wings were rubber at best. my friends had a good meal but the service put dampener on things, they were a little all over the place and messed up the initial order. A lovely place and a nice atmosphere. the food just wasn’t there for me though. perhaps this place should really be called just«Pizzas» since that’s what they are good it… they should stick with it.

Oh, best pizzas(from a restaurant, take-outs tend to have the edge for some reason, something to do with eating out of cardboard or something…) around by a long shot. This was a big favourite a few years back, before we were old enough to be cool and go to dinner in town. Seriously good fare too, and it’s super kid-friendly which is nice as well.
