I’m a fan of costa coffee but wasn’t overly impressed by the caramel latte cooler that I ordered. I’ve tried these in order Costas and they have been delicious but this one was really bland — there wasn’t even any cream on top! There was a bit of a que forming which might have been reason for the coffee not being that great. Other than that, there was a nice relaxing atmosphere here at Costa.

There’s just something so appealing about a book shop and coffee shop rolled into one, always a shame that libraries don’t have coffee docks in them. I love this Costa for the relaxed atmosphere. I could enjoy a soy hot chocolate while the Mister perused the Isles for a birthday present. The staff are lovely and the chocolate is tasty

Nice big cosey coffee shop on top of the shopping center above Easons with great views out over the harbor and piers. Costa do good coffee and their prices are the same as Starbucks as is their cup sizes. However, I do think that their food and especially their baked goods are far superior to Starbucks, but that is just my opinion. But I feel the quality and range is better here. Costa also do a loyalty card and you can earn points to save up and redeem and get free drinks. I like the ambiance of the Costa Coffee here, it is big spacious, light and bright and very relaxed, a good place to chill with a book.

I try to avoid writing reviews about chains but I do feel compelled to with this one as for the most part I have always find the service in Costa Coffee lacking any sort of personal touch. The lady/manager here was fantastic and warm as was here staff and they genuinely seemed to really love working there. It helped even more that the coffee was great. It seems like this spot is full of young families and if your idea of a relaxing time is having to put up with people letting their children run amok then avoid this spot especially at the weekends. In fairness the children’s section of the bookshop borders on the café so it’s to be somewhat expected. I like kids I just resent parents that think their Tommy or Sally can run around undisciplined or jump on furniture because they are«expressing themselves.» Feck that for a game of cowboys, children should learn manners first and foremost and understand that a playground and not a café is were they can act the maggot.

Upstairs where Hughes used to be and where Easons is also now. I had the Iced Mocha with a fruit and oat cookie for € 5.30. Nice place but shame about the product!
