Nice place but the coffee quality varies each time you visit. Really annoying. The location and shop itself are nice

This is a lovely wee Starbucks. Their Chia Tea Latte was, great. It looks a lot bigger inside than outside. If you want fresh air, they have seating, outside the front. This is best one in Ireland, so far.

Starbucks is a Starbucks, I know. This one is nice and a big tho, very clean and open so late. Which is great. Coffee shops are always closed too early I find. Yes I know so we can all sleep at night, but Thers decaf yall. Great for grabbing one on the go, before hitting the pier. Delicious coffee and a stroll down the pier. Nudddddin better :)

Love this Starbucks this is probably my most visited one in my area and where I do pop in and out now and again but anytime I do: Great Staff, Great Service and very clean toilets/establishment and coffee is made fairly quick

So… I’ve always been one of those people who was not a fan of chain coffee shops and frequents independent coffee shops. But since having kids, I have to say that chain coffee shops offer more space, high chairs, and more amenable staff. I live in the Dun Laoghaire area and really like this Starbucks. Starbucks is definitely pretty expensive as far as coffee goes, but I pay more for the convenience and the ability to have lunch relatively easily with my twin toddlers. So this place is great for new-ish mothers(sorry, previous posters, you probably didn’t find it very relaxing if you were sitting near me and my girls). But I do go here without my kids to work during the day sometimes and find it decent as well(headphones mask all sorts of loud kids and loud adult conversations). It’s bright, airy, the bathrooms aren’t scary and the people behind the counter are really nice. Gets my vote!

As Melanie posted earlier, this Starbucks has a different look to any I’ve ever been in. A lot less wood, and a lot more modern looking. It’s also quite bigger than you’d think from just seeing it from the outside. I’m not a coffee drinker(yes I’m one of *those* people), so I only ordered a hot chocolate with a shot of hazelnut. It was made quickly and correctly, and staff were friendly. I’d have to agree with Melanie again though… a drawback are the shouting groups of teens that frequent the place.

This is a new Starbucks just opened beside Nandos in Dun Laoghaire. It doesn’t look like or feel like other Starbucks. It has a different vibe. It is big and spacious and has nice confortable seats as well as a big long table in the middle of the upper floor. It is really bright and airy and the music isn’t blasting through the speakers, in fact it would have been quiet relaxing if it wasn’t for all the kids running around, but it was a Sunday morning so maybe it would be more kid free during school days. The staff were helpful and bubbly but not in an annoying way the the service was quick and efficient. The machines in operation here are bean to cup machines so in theory you should be able to get the same standard of coffee everytime you come in as you just press a button and the coffee grinds and brews automatically. In theroy the coffee should be fresher too as the beans are only ground as each cup is made, but it is still Starbucks coffee which I find not very exciting, however, at this time of year they do have their more flavoursome Christmas Blend on offer which you can have as a filter coffee or in an espresso based drink. I would highly recommond this, with one of their delicious and festive gingerbread muffins. The prices in every Starbucks have increased by 15c, at least for an americano it has, so value isn’t as great as it use to be here, but still if you like a lot of coffee Starbuck’s venti sized can’t be beat.
