I hate this place. One waiter kept going around and around in a circle checking tables and gave me a headache. The strawberry daiquiri was nice but hardly any alcohol in it.

When I heard of a bar in Dundrum town centre, I thought that’s a great idea. Regretfully it’s more for show. Hard to get a seat, poor food menu, sitting in the dark and the bar staff are pretty rude, I noticed that there’s some arrogant customers too in addition to the bar staff. The nightclub upstairs is a room with a bar and to charge in is ironic given how bad it is. This place is only surviving due to being part of the centre,

Lounge at Dundrum shopping centre, I’ve popped in here a few times whether a post shopping bevy or post cinema drink and I think because it’s got that come/go and different purpose for everyone, it’s hasn’t found its own personality. Yes, full bar and reasonably comfy places to sit and unwind but from music to sports, to random quiz questions on the TV screen… I’m confused! Staff have always been friendly and happy to help although just not a place I could see myself spending few hours or the whole night in, 1 or 2 drinks max

I only stopped by here for a quick meeting and some lunch to follow. The lunch menu isn’t great so we just asked for a sandwich which they do but don’t advertise… which is odd. A chicken salad sandwich, some crisps and a side of fries followed and it was what you expect to get. Couldn’t fault anything and the waitress was nice. Even had s good chat with the bar man when paying so can’t fault the place. Everything was standard with nothing out of the ordinary going on so I can only give 3 stars.

I went here recently and would like to apologise for disturbing the bar staff. It was wrong of me to wait there patiently for 20 minutes at the bar to be served when evidently you needed to chat amongst yourselves and someone who I assume was one of the regulars. Don’t worry though, I won’t disturb you again as the effort of pouring 3 drinks for myself and my friends was obviously too much to ask. Lets be honest; it’s a nice place in a perfect location. I just wish I wasn’t made feel like it was an inconvenience that there were customers there.

Great venue for a post shopping drink. Intimate venue with dark lighting. Good date bar and it even has a nightclub upstairs — Parker Brown’s. Near the luas so city centre is only 20 mins away. Drop in here the next time you’re on a spree! Looking forward to going back and sampling the food.

The best thing about this place is its location beside Dundrum shopping centre. I don’t yet know what it’s like to go to Winter’s during the day, but in the evening, if you’re local or fancy a pint before going home after shopping, it’s a nice stop. The bar staff are friendly and there’s a lovely covered, heated smoking area at the front. The price range is normal. Inside is a bit too cramped for my own taste, but it’s by no means bad. The music is a bit overbearing, and if there’s a sport on TV that night, then that seems to dominate, unfortunately. But maybe I’m just not 19 anymore…

We went in for a couple of beers before our Movie started. The reception in Winters Bar is ‘Chilly’. The barman who served us obviously hated his job and wanted us to know it or he could do with a serious class in customer service. The ambiance of the bar has all the warmth of an Eazy Hotel lobby in December. The waiting staff looked as if they knew what they were doing however we were sitting at the bar so we were stuck with sour puss. I dont think its the kind of place you would go for an evening out, it’s more of a place to pour alcohol into yourself after fighting your way through the crowds in Dundrum shopping centre. I think Meh is about as good as it gets

I’m not sure what to make of Winter’s. I was only here recently and while the pints were nice enough, the chairs were pretty uncomfortable and I got the impression they were more for show than to actually sit on. The staff were pretty hard to get a hold of and admittedly the place was pretty packed, but we were sitting right in front of them and they ignored us for quite some time. The potato skins weren’t that great either and pretty dear(9 Euro), but in my defense everything goes down quite well after a few pints. One thing I did really like though was the chocolate cake for dessert. Another little bugbear: I couldn’t see much of the Rugby because the screens were too far away and too small. Not a pub I’ll go to again to watch the Rugby.

I have been in here lots of times for post(and mid) shopping trip drinks! i like it during the day the booths are nice big cushy leather seats and it is cosy and warm feeling inside particularly when its raining outside. i hae seen some of the food in here and have never been tempted to get it at all, it just does not look appealing at all and there are far better looking choices in the shopping centre. this is a mediocre bar for watching sport, there are screens but i dont think they are well placed, but in fairness its not really a sporting bar and i dont think it was laid out with televisions in mind. no harm really! I am not a fan of this pub at night and i do not like the night club at all, its too small and im not sure if i like the type of people who go there either. the toilets are not bad in here by the way, nice and spacious!

I had Sunday lunch in here one day and it was very average. There was a carvery on, which looked a tad unappealing, and I ended up getting some salmon and salad that was only OK. It wasn’t awful but I wouldn’t be running back for more. The service was only so-so too. Our table was dirty when we sat down at it and it took a while for someone to clean it up for us. I think there’s an actual menu during the week that is meant to be better than the Sunday offering.

Whoa! Now, call me a communist, but this is just going too far! Shopping Centres crammed with international-evil-conglomerate-style franchise outlets that twist the impressionable minds of our youth and suck the life-blood out of the surrounding 15 square miles of small to medium sized businesses — I can handle. But to come here for drinks as well! Puh-lease! This place gives me the heebie-jeebies. It really feels to me like some sort of alcohol dispensing machine, a soma bar from Huxley maybe, or, as my friend put it — a drinking cage. Inside, it’s like the set of a bad cop show on Hallmark, all blue lights, desk lamps and venetian blinds, and worst of all it’s packed on even a Sunday night. After one drink, I’d had enough and wandered about the post-closing time desolateness of Dundrum Town Centre and it struck me that there is really nothing else to do here, except to shop in Tesco … So, I’ll climb back into the drinking cage, I suppose. I would say one star, but it’s just too much fun getting all righteous and appalled about something, so two stars.

Winter’s Bar seems to always be busy! Any time I’ve been in here it’s spilling with people outside and you’re hard pushed to get a table inside. At the moment this is a plus just to know there will be people there(things are quiet!). It’s a nice bar and they do pub grub too. Very good burgers too. There was a noticeable pause while I devoured my food. Nice buzz in the bar, we stayed until closing, I’ll go again.

This place can be known as winter’s or parker brownes, depending on who you talk to but technically the bar is winters and the upstairs nightclub is parker brownes, which only opens thurs-sun. Situated at the side of dundrum town centre, it’s a really cool bar/nightclub that always has a great buzz in it. It’s great if you want to chill out with a few drinks mid-shop if you’re maxing the credit card inside the mall, or even if you’re heading out on a big night out. I regularly meet friends on a Thursday night here — after a look round the shops it’s nice to unwind with a few glasses of wine and if you’re hungry they have a bar menu too. I highly recommend their burger… so juicy! They also do a carvery lunch all week too. Then if you really want a mad night out you can venture upstairs. The club is a little on the small side but it has a good little dancefloor and outside smoking area.
